    No, he won't hit for a .388 OBP forever. A second baseman with a .340 OBP with average fielding can be a regular. I am not assuming he will do that, but his walk rates in the minors and this year suggests he has the potential to do it.

    This year, so far, he is looking like somebody that could be a regular starter. Kelly never did.

    They could also be doing that now! He has been walking consistently though which was my concern in his previous MLB trials.

    I don't really think of facebook as a news aggrgetor, but that's probably because I blocked all their "news" a long time ago. It's harder to do that on twitter. I mean you can avoid it but not without some continuous effort.

    With the Tigers closing in on first place, I don't think Harris is going to allow the weak spots to just keep playing. I can see him making a minor trade for a Kerry Carpenter type (preferably right-handed) who isn't going to be a long-term regular, but can play a role. Or maybe there is another McKinstry out there

    The biggest network in the country (Fox) is far right wing. The biggest social news network (Twitter) is now right wing. The second biggest network (CNN) is now owned by a right winger and recently aired a complete Trump rally which last more than an hour.

    Hawk was a ridiculous homer, but he was actually a pretty smart baseball man. I actually found him humorous after a while and he wasn't that bad compared a lot other broadcasters (like ones we've seen with the Tigers over the years).

    The amazing thing is they have a lot of LOB while getting on base less than almost every team.

    Do those people know or care that Cabrera is still on the team? I think they just go there to be at a cool place and to drink beer

    They are marketing him as if they do and some probably do, but I agree most fans don't want to watch him bat anymore. It is mostly something they are doing out of respect to him.

    I am not a political maven like most people here. I don't follow everything Warren does and says, so I am not surprised that I missed it. LOL, NH hiking enthusiasts would not be surprised that massholes wanted to set up abortion tents in national forests.

    He is taking up a spot that could be used for someone who might not be playing any more than Cabrera, but had the felxibility to play different roles and contribute something useful.

    Abortion clinics in national forests? I never heard of that and it sounds like a terrible idea. When I go to a national forest, I want to be in a forest. I don't want it to be some kind of political experience. I go to the forest to get away from that ****.

    Maybe they regret it. Maybe they don't. They probably want different things than you want and maybe they thought Clinton would get them there. Not everything is D versus R.
