    It's about what I expected. Chances are none of them will be very good, but they all have some potential. That's what you get from a rental. Baseball is more fun when you are the team getting the rental because it's means you are good.

    I think Chas and me were both being tongue in cheek in saying that it was absolutely wrong to include the zero before batting average. It is aesthetically wrong, but cetainly not mathematically wrong. The worst name for a traditional stat, by the way, is slugging percentage. as it is neither a percentage nor a proportion.

    proportions then. You got me, but batting average has historically been presented as a proportion. Anyway, my point still stands.

    I think when people are refreshing Twitter all day to see a Flaherty (or a long shot Skubal) trade and they see a Ricky Vanasco trade, you can expect some sacastic posts. It's probably more humor than criticism.

    Not sure why I would stop rooting for the Tigers after 57 years especially when they didn't have good teams for the majority of those years and now seem to be headed in a positive direction.

    I expect Dingler to struggle a lot initially. He has shown enough where I want to see what he can do in the Majors now, but I am not expecting him to have a better career than Rogers.

    He's smart. I wasn't expecting a top 10 prospect, just somebody beter than a typical Harris waiver pick. I don't really care though. Nothing about a Carson Kelly trade is worth getting upset about.

    Harris can pick up guys like that off the waiver wire, something he has been good at.

    BA and OBP should never ever have a 0 in front of the decimal. OPS is not a percentage and it is not uncommon for it to be above one, so it's not so wrong for there to be a 0 before the decimal. I actually often think of OPS as hundreds - like a 800 OPS.

    I wasn't expecting a top prospect. I thought they might at least get a an A+ level starter that the Tigers could fix. Instead they got a reliever with a medioce k rate and a 25 year old catcher with no power.

    I had not heard that before. I am going to go out on a limb and say that Trump hasn't either. Rubio might know about it. Trump would never pick little Marco anyway. He'd make him grovel and then humiliate him instead.
