    I don't believe his personal plan is to destroy democracy or to hurt America. I don't think he gives a **** about democracy or America one way or the other. His goal is to acquire as much adulation, prestige, wealth and power as possible. The destruction of democracy and America is the goal of his handlers.

    It could be a political stunt, but what if parts of the government are not following the constitution? I don't know if that is what happened in this specific case, but is it not the responsibility of elected leaders to do something about it?

    No doubt. Long before Trump ran for President, I had a few people from certain other countries tell me that Americans are too trusting. Perhaps, they were right. We've had it so good with protections and freedoms that people have taken them for granted. We can't see what's happening because we haven't experienced it before. We are too easy.

    I don't think he's the genius you make him out to be. Sure, he's a great salesman, but I don't think everything he does and says has a reason behind it. I think he's full of ****, but knows how to sell it and at this point he surely knows that the entire Repubblican party will go along with whatever he he says.

    I've always thought that if everyone gets your joke, then the joke is probably not that funny. The best humor has some subtlety and context to it that not everyone will get. You can't please everyone.

    I understand that. It is very shortsighted to consider Russia as a friend based on WII. I was just pointing out that it's a common notion among a lot of elderly.

    I think the idea of Russia being a friend because they were an ally in WWII is a fairly common mindset of a good number of people over a certain age. I've heard it befotre. However, it shouldn't be the mindset of the President.

    Friedl would be a corner with the Tigers and Green, Meadows and Frield would be an excellent defensive outfield. However, outfield is not a need for the Tigers. They've got Greene, Meadows, Carpenter and Perez already. If they trade decent prospects at the deadline, I think it will be for a pitcher

    Benetti is a good play by play man. He is intelligent and sometimes humorous, but I think he over does the pop culture stuff for my tastes. He is better with a straight man like Petry than Dirks who pushes him even further onto a tangent. I do think Benetti is better than anyone they've had on TV for a long time. Benetti/Petry and Dickerson/Dirks are their best combos.

    It's so easy. The hardest part is getting the machine to accept your credit card. I like it better than dealing with an attendant.

    I think the success rate of TJ surgery is over blown. Most pitchers return, and can be successful, but a lot of them lack the durability and velocity they had previously. The idea that TJ surgery makes pitchers stronger is a myth. It's the intense rehab and change in mechanics that can sometimes make them stronger.

    He actually did pump gas as a job before signing with the Tigers. He was my all-time favorite Tigers personality and it was all totally natural. He used to show up as a guest at baseball camps and such in my area after retiremement, so I got a chance to see him in action in a non-professional situation and he was no different that the guy we saw pitching for the Tigers. He was the best.

    Farmer sucked and be became overrated after one pretty good year. He's actually been a little better since leaving the Tigers.

    He usually does not show poor taste. I didn't see the post, but we all know he has a tendancy to not let go of stuff. He never liked the Jobe draft.

    I remember a lot of people were blaming it on the Tigers striking out too much, but yes it was the pitching The all or nothing offense could have sustained them if they had decent pitching.
