    In public school in the seventh grade, I remember being taught evolution and I was surprised when one kid shouted out that it was all BS. It was surprising at the time because this kid was usually kind of laid back and joking all the time. It was the first time I had heard about this controversy. My parents taught me about religion, but it was never a big deal. They bought a chidren's Bible as a kid and I read it. My father told me there were some good lessons in there, but that it was just stories, not real.

    I wonder how much playing teams fewer times will help pitchers. If they play every team in the other league only once that is a whole bunch of teams that will see the same pitchers only once.

    Probably, although 13 seems sufficient in most situations. Early this season , they may need more pitchers. I believe they can call up another player for doubleheaders.

    There is going to be a 13-pitcher cap on pitchers this year. I haven't heard whether that will be waived in the first couple of weeks.

    Another thing I don't like. More interleague play and fewer divisional games. If they don't care about divisional rivalries, then get rid of divisions and just take the top six teams in each league.

    Three houses for two million is more than anyone needs, but they aren't mansions. Those are averaged priced houses in some areas.

    Norwich, CT was one of my favorite minor league locales, so I was disappointed to see them go. I know they won't get their team back, but go get em Norwich!

    The players don't want it though. It's something which they think will make their job harder.

    yeah, I know. I say the same thing. It's not really true, but bad moves are more memorable than good ones.

    I think the pitch clock should be good for the game, but it's something owners wanted and not the players. The owners don't do things for the "good of the game". They do things to make money which may or may not end up being good for the game.
