I think showing up is more young versus old than D versus R and young happen to be more D than R. What can be done to get the younger people voting more?

There is a perception that many of the killings in Chicago are "bad people" killing other "bad people" as opposed to someone shooting up a school of innocents kids. I don't know whether thst perception is reality. It's still a bad situation regardless, but I can see why people would make the distinction.

It's not just the Tigers. Year to year bullpen performance is so erratic, that's it's always hard to make reliable projections. You could take all the bullpens in baseball and predict their order of success based on a random number generator and you might do just as well as if you tried to figure it out systematically!

Another wild card for this team is the bullpen. Fans complained about the pen last year, but they were surprisingly good at finishing off wins. They will either need a repeat performance and I am not really confident they will get it from that group.

Why not? I would think that those who care enough to gripe are the ones most likely to grow up and be exposed to different types of situations that could change their outlooks.

Where does a young person acquire that view? When I was young, I never thought politicians had any effect on my life or that my vote mattered. I usually voted for some strange third party candidate like Anderson or Buchanan. Come to think of it, I still don't think they make a difference to me personally but, as I age, it's easier to see they might make a difference in the lives of people in need (after they take care of their corporate donors of course).

Young people have never voted in great numbers and then they grow up to be moderates.

I think young progressives don't really see a difference in their lives whether Biden or a conservative is president. So, they don't see voting as a priority if their far left candidates don't have a chance. They are not obligated to vote for your candidates. If moderates want to stay in power, the onus is on them to convince the progressives that voting for them is worthwhile.

It's not really antisemitism. It's just more narcissism. He is upset because Jewish people didn't vote for him. If Evngelicals started voting against him, he'd tear them apart like he does everyone else.
