    I don't think it's a crazy notion that Trump was an informant. Thinking that he was an innocent informant is the crazy part.

    I don't think the people around him politically are very smart either. The real owners of this country are smart though and they know how to manipulate him. That group of tech billionaires that he met with the other day surely played him like a fiddle.

    The only way we will see it is if Trump's presidency causes an economic catastrophy and people start worrying about their own inequity.

    My guess is that the elections will be fair and than we'll get a blue wave...Then Trump will say they were rigged and disregard the results.

    I read all the digests from the early 70s to mid 80s. They were hokey by today's standards, but I loved them growing up. I still have a few of them, but I'm not really a collector.

    Ugh, I don't have so many international students this fall. Last Spring, they were all scared to the point of mental health problems at all the immigration stuff going on.

    Peter Gammons used to use that phrase a lot too, so you are in good company. I was actually referring to Hinch. I assumed that being a MLB player was Hinch's dream career whereas being a manager (and potentially a front office person later) is probably the next best career.

    This is not the NBA. Every team has a shot and no team is likely ti win it all. Some have a better chance than others, but it's largely a crap shoot. The best team might have a 15% shot, the worst team a 5% shot. The Tigers are probably right in the middle. I am going to enjoy the show.

    They are not in a terrible position this year, not when they have Skubal. It would be nice to have Schilling and Johnson, but you don't necessarily need two aces to win the World Series. Who did the Rangers have in 2023? Who did the Dodgers have last year that was remotely comparable to Skubal? I agree 2027 without Skubal is a concern.
