  1. Stern is one of the biggest jerks ever, but I'd vote for him over pretty much any current Republican. I'd love to see him shred Trump.
  2. Not if she accepted Jesus before she died. Isn't that how it works?
  3. So, let's make him a washed up nobody again.
  4. It is extremely difficult for a 16-year old boy to go against what his coach and teammates are doing. So, yeah, it is pretty much compulsory
  5. It's pretty simple. The motivation is to deter him and others from doing the same things in the future.
  6. It was all deserved based on 40 years of evidence. The guy is a total psychopath who would have spent his life going in and out of prison and mental health treatment had he not been born into wealth.
  7. I distrust government in general because the leaders are primarily interested in staying in power. While I think that there is corruption at the top, I think thre are many people within the administrative state who do good work and keep things somewhat honest. Big corporations are based totally on profit making and I don't think they contain an element which is working for the good of the people. If this did exist, it would be quickly eliminated.
  8. It's been that way my entire life. It will now become more so. As much as I distrust the administrative state, I mistrust big corporations even more.
  9. in his eyes, there is nothing wrong with a neo nazi. If that neo nazi can help him in some way, that is all that matters. The nazi vote is useful to him.
  10. Has Abramson ever predicted anything correctly? He's been talking about Trump getting nailed for six years and nothing ever happens.
  11. Hill is another Nook Logan.
  12. The tweeter was Obama (or more likely his ghost tweeter).
  13. Running on fear helped in 2020.
  14. Before he switched to "long gone!", Harwell used to say: "It maybe...it is a Tiger homerun".
  15. Weld was a pretty popular governor in Massachusetts. I had no problem with him. I was surprised to see him later running as a Libertarian.
  16. nope, I lived in MA and I voted early because I was vacationing in Arizona on election night.
  17. I voted for Pat Buchanon in 2000. I had zero interest in politics at the time and wanted to vote for an odd ball.
  18. That is why he won. I don't know if Biden could have won. The ordering just makes more sense.
  19. Maybe a younger Biden should have been President in 2008 and a more experienced Obama in 2016.
  20. If it happens , it would be economic. If there is a way to monetize this, the corporations will do it. Some of them have already begun to market themselves as being against the decision. While I think that the corporate elite has more power than politicians, they are usually led by old white guys who don't care about abortion. That is a problem, but if they can make money...
  21. I think the big corporations will ultimately decide how far individual states go with this. They always do.
  22. THEY have to be convinced. They did come out to vote in 2020. That was easy though. Trump was so obviously terrible that you'd have to be blind and deaf not to see it. They didn't vote because they thought Biden would be a good leader.
  23. They have to be convinced that their consequences will be better with Democratic leaders.
