If he is a minus one win second baseman, then he should not be playing second base. On a pitching centric team which will probably be in a lot of low scoring games, -1 WAR might underestimate how bad he hurts the team. I am not sure he is that. Based on last year, DRS says yes, but statcast says average.

I don't have a problem with the Tigers moving him to first. I just think he has less value there.

I am less excited about Keith as a 1B than at 2B. Short term, positions don't matter much, but long-term they have a big effect on a player's value. I believe Keith would be an above average hitter for a second baseman for a long time. He could do that at first too, but I am less sure.

I don't think Trump wants a war with Canada. He wants to bully and humiliate them into doing what he wants. That's what he has done his whole life and he usually gets his way because of money and power. If he does start a war with Canada though, I am not supporting it in any way.

I don't get what's so special about MAGA's "America first". We have ALWAYS been America first. Everything we do is done with America in mind first even if it also helps other countries in some way.

I would not blame the troops. Most of them are young people, who may not know better or may be intimidated by authority. I would blame people higher up.

I was thinking about that yesterday. Even if they think he is figuring something out, it's hard to carry him on the roster as first base is taken and they probably don't want a DH/1B on the bench. They could use a right-handed hitting outfielder.

I think MAGA will trust him on the tariffs, but not SS. They probably see tariffs as good for America, but take away money which they think belongs to them and they won't like it.

Start taking money way from people and tthey will take action. There are millions of MAGA getting SS or soon to be getting SS. They love seeing other people suffer, but they'll cry if they have to suffer themselves. Plus, they don't have to blame it on the cult leader. They can blame it on MUSK.
