That was an unforced error. If they didn't want to pay for him, they should not have given him the contract. Then they compounded the problem by signing another player at the same position. If they didn't want to spend money, they could have gotten a lot more in return for Devers a couple of years ago.

I'm pretty sure everyone currently commenting in this thread voted for Harris. The only exception might be Trump loving Tigeraholic and he hasn't been around much lately.

I was saying that Chapman was 32. The post to which I was responded suggested that Chapman could be traded to the Tigers. I don't believe the Giants have any plans of moving Chapman to another team or off his position.

Shouldn't the person who hired them also get arrested? That person seems more at fault to me. Also, Trump is claiming that they are only going after violent criminals which according the ablove statistics is blatantly false.

I know it's prevalent in baseball, but it still seems dumb to me like not bunting to break up a no hitter. If you make a terrible trade outside your division, you'll look dumb too. Now with the more balanced schedule, it makes even less sense.

He is still good, but is 32 and still has 5 years left on his contract. So, it's probably not s good idea for the Tigers. The Giants will likely try to get Duran to play first.

I've never really understood the idea of not making a trade within your division. If you think it's a good trade, then do it. If you think it will come back to haunt you, don't do it.

There were more people than I expected at the No Kings Rally in my town. There looked to be about 300 people with more people coming and going. There was a guy in a truck with a Trump 2028 sign trying to start ****, but everybody pretty much ignored him. I only stayed for about a half hour because a bird crapped on my jacket on my way there - must have been a Trump supporter.

For me, it would need to be one of his really stupid faces - you know the one where has his mouth in a little circle and looks absolutely clueless.

He is a huge professional wrestling guy. He likes a good show and chaos does that for him! He's a salesman. I think he's somewhere in between being someone who knows exactly what he's doing and a cipher in the administration.
