Why would they be terrified? If they were confident in a Harris landslide, they would want to predict it so they could bask in the glory when they got it right.
If that's the direction they go, that might be the end for me as a baseball fan. I really hope there is some outlet either on radio or online where we don't have that nonsense.
They had more than five starters entering Spring Training last year - Skubal, Olson, Meada, Flaherty, Mize, Manning - and people wre saying they had too many starters...You can nver ever have too much pitching!
He has never done anything good in his life.
I can usually find something good to say about everybody even if it's something minor. For Trump. I've got nothing.
One type of voter I am worried about is right-wing mail-in voters. Trump told them not to do that last time which probably explains a large portion of the mail-in advantage for Democrats. How many right-wingers who didn't vote at all in 2020 will now vote by mail because Trump is not discouraging it this time?
Yes, pitching staffs are very fluid, especially Tigers pitching staffs. The top four starters on April 1 could be very different than the top 4 on October 1 and Jobe could be part of either group or both.
I said he could be the #2 starter right now. Olson didn't seem to be making a great recovery from his shoulder injury and nobody else was asserting themselves as a #2. I will evaluate the new acquisitions when they happen.
"Anyone could be the next Lou Whitaker or Alan Trammell. They didn't have great minor league stats either. Plus, Trammell didn't hit as a rookie and Whitaker had no power."
It was a high reward high risk signing. I didn't think it would turn out well, but given the state of the franchise, I was not unhappy to see them take a risk. Given how low their payroll still is, I don't think he is preventing them from signing anyone. The current risk is that he continues to tak up a roster spot.
I didn't say they "should" do it, but but it seems pretty common now. There are other news aggregator sites that charge money and I have no doubt that the original sites would charge money if they thought it would be profitable. The whole internet used to be free. Now, it's getting really difficult to find sites which are not free.
I am not at all active in politics like you seem to be, but it's really easy to figure out which polls lean Republican.
Yes, democrats tend to be doom and gloom but I get these sunshine sites popping up on my facebook and Twitter and you sound just like them now. Most of the people in this forum including me predicted a Clinton victory in 2016. However, I thought people were too confident in assuming a victory and guessing 350+ electoral votes even though the late polls were suggesting that Trump had a decent shot. I am not falling for that. Harris has a very good chance to win, but I am not really confident.
I know how to distiguish betweem Republican polls like Rasmussen and Atlas and more unbiased polls. I think you may be you're falling for the rosy narrative being pushing by Democrats since all you keep posting about is how she is going win Florida and Ohio...Maybe that was pfife though, I don't remember because you guys are such good friends. .😃
