  1. Oh, I assume almost all of them are red hats especially a white guy named Colt from Ohio. It was just funny seeing the connection on Twitter.
  2. He deleted his Twitter account after he was exposed as gay. I'm serious.
  3. Yes, he does. The Tigers are so White now that even the Blacks look White. Not that it matters, but is this the whitest Tigers team in the last 50 yeas?
  4. Assuming good health, I wouldn't expect Vierling to ever outperform Bregman. We have to remember that Vierling is only two years younger.
  5. OK, I want the Tigers to get this guy...
  6. Yeah, I've noticed that. I generally assume that their preferred product is ****.
  7. Twitter just suggested that I follow Tucker Carlson. And why did they suggest that? Because I follow Colt Keith who follows Tucker Carlson. ugh.
  8. All companies start to suck when they get too big. Google was a great company until it got too greedy. Amazon is still going strong, but it will get there some day too.
  9. I also don't know if he'll want to leave Houston. If he is available, I think he is the most likely expensive free agent they would pursue since he is a good fit at a position of need and has a history with Hinch.
  10. I think I went there around 1970. It was my first of many trips to Montreal with my dad.
  11. I just saw the Harris interview on Fox. She handled it about as well as she could in a hostile format. She didn't say much about what she wanted to do policy wise, but she wasn't really given the opportunity to do so. Everything she has said about Trump has been spot on and I don't know why no other candidate has done that.
  12. The Tigers have a small payroll and have shown that they can put together a strong pitching staff without spending a lot. So, it makes sense to spend some money on position players. It's not going kill them to take a chance on a guy in Bregman's class if the right match is available.
  13. THE 6TH INNING WAS TOO LATE SKOOBAL DIDNT GET IT DONE WHEN IT COUNTED HE DOESNT HAVE BALLS HE DOESNT HAVE THE CLUTCH GENE JACK MORRIS HAD THE CLUTCH GENE SKOOBAL DOESNT HINCH SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT
  14. If they can play major league games in Jarry Park, they can play them in a 27,000 seat football stadium. Jarry Park is definitely the coolest park I have been to.
  15. My ballot has been submitted. Straight Democrat even in some of the local races where I know little about the candidates.
  16. I think undecided might really mean: "undecided as to whether or not they are voting" which most likely includes more Harris voters than Trump voters.
  17. The correct answer is Montreal!
  18. yeah, WAR tries to measure player value as you describe, but I think catcher is still the most difficult position to measure. I am not sure you can measure how well a catcher works with his pitchers which may or may not be an important factor being missed. I believe this is what you are talking about in your last paragraph.
  19. Another thing about catchers is that they get beat up a lot and I think that means they tend to have a lot of variation in performance over time. I have no problem with teams carrying a strong defensive catcher who doesn't hit much.
  20. I remember that I couldn't listen to this game because it was too early to get good radio reception from Massachusetts. I was looking forward to the second game and I was disappointed that it was called. Even Ernie Harwell sounded disgusted. Anyway, the game was forfeited to the Tigers, so they did get a sweep, but they were 14 games out, so who cares. I just wanted to hear a game!
  21. Nice game for Pat Underwood.
  22. The money is not going to the establishment. It's going to him and his family.
  23. The first game of the disco demolition doubleheader:
