I think it's all broken anyway. I believe if Trump wins the election in the fall, a very lrge percentage of Democrats will believe that it was stolen whether there is strong evidence or not. A precedent has been created which will be hard to unset. It is going to be another very ugly scene regardless of who wins. I will say that I don't think the Democrats will storm the capital and Biden will not put Harris' life in danger and he will not whine for four years if they lose. If they do well in the Congressional elections, we might get to see another impeachment. LOL

Process generally carries more weight for me than results when it comes to predictions. The problem with draft picks though is that hardly any fan knows enough about these guys to have an informed opinion abut the process. From my perspective, it's pretty random.

I am generally in favor of selecting position players with draft picks, but there is a lot of risk even with prospects. So, it's going to be really hard to fault the Tigers if Jobe ends up being successful.

The media keeps saying Biden is in trouble because of uncommitted votes. What about a former President only getting 68% of his own party's vote? That is pretty weak. Dump got 94% in 2020. I am very concerned that Dump will win the general election, but his primary performance has been poor.

The Mayer/Jobe debate hasn't even begun. They are both prospects who haven't reached AAA yet. The Tigers could win that debate by a lot or they could lose it by a lot. Like the Wyatt/Clark debate, we won't know the answer for years.

It appears to be a pattern and it is is definately worth watching. Whether or not the same thing is happening in the general election polls is unknown, but seeing his strength getting overestimated in the primaries gives us hope that the same thing is happening in the general election polling.

The media has been doing Trump a huge favor by broadcasting every word he has said or tweeted for the last 8 years. This keeps him in the news constantly and gives him legitimacy among the masses. Sure most of it is crazy talk, but if they see him in the the media every day, he can't be that bad of a guy, can't be a psychopath, right? The media needs him and will do what it can to get him re-elected.

Mail-in voting has made a big difference in participation and this is of course beneficial Biden (the real reason the right hates mail-in voting). I would guess this is being made more difficult in some states this time around, although I could be wrong about that.

No, they hated Trump and his incompetence and stupidity was fresh in their minds. My fear is they may have forgotten and may now be blaming the current President for everything that is wrong in their world.

Libertarianism definitely does attract some nut jobs. The Wallaces and Dukes now make up part of the core of the Republican party, so you won't get them running as independents Amash is not bad. He has spoken out against Trump though, so he won't get anywhere in an election.

No, I am talking about one of them running as a third party candidate in the presidential race. The part where I mentioned you is just a joke. We know that Justin Amash is real. I just looked up Mapstead and Rectenwald and they are real. I am all for one of the Libertarians running as an Independent and stealing a few Republican votes. Now, of course it would be better if they voted for Biden instead, but nobody who would vote for a Libertarian would consider a Democrat. I think Trump would have died of Covid if he didn't have the best medical care in the world. They can do amazing things with hearts today though. My dad lived until 99 and his heart was functioning less than 40% the last dozen years.

If there were no term limits for President I am pretty sure Obama would have beaten Trump. He'd probably still be President today and he'd probably be better at it with experience. So, I can see that argument.

I agree. Biden and Trump will both live into their 90s unless they get something unmanageable like some aggressive form of cancer. They could be in very poor health for a long period of time, but they will be kept alive.
