I think it's going to take mass protests to wake everyone up. Authoritarianism is happening fast. Waiting until Fall, 2026 (and optimistically counting on a blue wave) may be too late. it's not 1993 anymore.

It could come from mass protests by the people. I think that would require a substantial eventto trigger it though.

I've always thought that errors should be treated like like an HBP where they counted in on base percentage as a time on base. I don't know if I'd treat it the same as a hit though because I think should count against the fielder. I believe the UZR fielding metric stil includes errors in the calculation since it is known that the fielder should have turned that batted ball into an out.

The run itself is illogical because a run scores without anyone getting on base. I will never get used to it. I lose interest in games as soon as they reach extra innings now.

I still see that as a bad mark on his historical record and I think a lot of teams felt that way which is why he was available. I was never angry and I am certainly not angry now. When all is said and done, I think he may go down as the best Tigers manager ever.

It won't come from CNN or other major media entity. Surprisingly, the best hope is the big business community. They won't help us, but they might limit the damage and allow a Trumpless future. He will soon make some half ass deals and call them the best deals ever and his cult will be happy.

I think their cuts in funding to science, research and universities seems to suggest the opposite. They don't care about weak and stupid people or intellectuals, probably for different reasons, but the same basic reason (They don't help billionaires make money).

I wish they still made those kinds of trades today, but they are now very rare, especially at the deadline. I pretty much assume that any deadline trade of a star will be for prospects. -
If hundreds of thousands of ciminals were let into the country, why did the violent crime rate not rise last year? I understand that there are logistical problems with allowing too many immigrants into the country at the same time, but they are lying about the violent crime wave. I realize that you guys know that!

They are pretending to care about anti-semitism now though. I think it's because Trump has been accused of being the next Hitler, so they want to pretend that he likes Jewish people.
