He reminds me a lot of watching Bryce Love's junior season at Stanford. He is going to end up with 100+ more carries than Love had that year, but watching the games, you just knew that he was going to pop at least one at some point. And he's probably also going to finish 2nd in Heisman voting to a flashier player.

When the Lions made the stop with more than 3 minutes left, I was unreasonably confident that they would win this game. It's a new era of Lions football, and they are simply built to have a nice and easy three-minute game winning drive.

The Lions are playing the Packers and Vikings a combined four times, compared to the Eagles having the Cowboys and Giants in their division. Without doing any research, I'd be pretty surprised if the Eagles strength of victory is in the same ballpark as the Lions.

Campbell has said that they tend to give out more game balls after watching film. I would expect O'Connor to get one in the film room.

Yeah, they're not wrong. If the Packers played a perfect game, they win the game. The fumble certainly comes to mind. But of course, it's not like the Lions played perfect. They gave up 14 points in less than 4 minutes in one stretch. The Lions are the clearly better team, and will win more often than not when these two teams play.

The comedic timing of the camera pan to Skipper keeled over is perfect.

Lions-Packers feels like an NFC Championship Game. I would take on Washington before Green Bay again. Playing the Packers and then Eagles would be a tough route. No one said it was going to be easy though.

I will say…. I really don’t want to play the Packers in January. If we do, we will, and I know Campbell will be ready for it. But I would rather take on the Eagles or Vikings than these Packers a third time. It feels likely though that we would have an NFC North matchup in the Divisional Round, unless the 7-seed upsets the Eagles.

God I LOVE this team. I LOVE this coach. I’ll try to upload my video of the final kick later when I have reliable WiFi. But THIS TEAM!!!! This was a top five greatest game of my Lions lifetime.

I’ll add to the jelly. With my season tix I get two “perks” a year. With my first I selected a VIP Draft experience, where I was in the right place at the right time to shake Roger Goodell’s hand, and have a funny exchange with him where I told him I loved him and he asked if I was the one booing him earlier. Today is my other perk. I’m heading downtown now, have tickets to the open bar VIP tailgate in Eastern Market. Just have to stay sober enough to scream in a few hours.

A lot of signs are pointing to a Green Bay victory tonight. Which is usually when we see the team pull it together and provide a solid four-quarter effort. I think we see a really strong offense tonight to counter the weakened defense. Detroit 34 Green Bay 28

I agree. At least in perception, people will say it’s all Ben Johnson, or that any QB could do what he did. Goff is the type of guy to win Super Bowl MVP though.

I greatly enjoyed listening to Karsch and Anderson this morning, knowing full well that Doug very likely had a vacation day scheduled for this morning that he decided to forego after Saturday.
