  1. It won't last that long. Probably about an hour once it arrives until the last drops fall. By that timeline, if they haven't finished already, it would be game on by around 5. It would be a matter of how much rain falls before they get the tarp on.
  2. Probably about 30 minutes before the rain arrives. Maybe less if something pops up ahead of the line.
  3. Dude can't find the strike zone. Just don't swing...
  4. We know a little more about your spare time habits.
  5. The rule in 2023 is 4.03(c)4. https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-images/image/upload/mlb/wqn5ah4c3qtivwx3jatm.pdf There is no provision made for a change of score later in the game, so presumably if the lead margin narrowed, you'd have to go back to the bullpen for the next inning.
  6. It's a good thing the throw to 3rd was wild, or else the runner would have been out by a mile...
  7. The bobble in left almost certainly drew Tork (or the 3rd base coach) to go for 3rd. The left fielder recovered too nicely for it to succeed.
  8. Chafin doing his best Todd Jones impression.
  9. Well, in no other situation does a pitcher get dinged with an earned run for allowing an inherited runner to score. The ghost runner is just another inherited runner, as he is on base through no fault of the pitcher.
  10. Another couple runs would be nice.
  11. They do, and they have for all the years I've used this configuration (which is more than a few). I recently added a Pi-Hole on the network for greater ad-blocking coverage across my devices (though with mixed success depending on the device) and that hasn't affected anything negatively. I still get the ads if I watch via Roku. Haven't really tried on my phone, but I'm having troubles with audio streaming on it this year while using a VPN app to kill ads there.
  12. I'm running smooth on it. On a desktop using Chrome, and with uBlock and Ghostery so I don't see the commercial break ads. uBlock says it's blocked 683 things since I started watching in the 1st.
  13. 14 minutes later, That can't be a coincidence.
  14. Helicopters is the best Chicago could do for a flyover?
  15. https://www.theverge.com/2023/4/6/23672572/t-mobile-mlb-tv-free-2028 According to that (and granted, it's 7-month-old information that may have changed), the T-Mobile MLB.TV agreement runs through 2028.
  16. True, but still better to have the moment when the Tigers are ahead so that the moment isn't muted by being behind.
  17. Maybe avoiding the risk of doing it after Cleveland has taken the lead?
  18. Well, Dan Dickerson clearly knows what's going down.
  19. My assumption: Miggy remains in the game until he gets on base then pull him for a pinch-runner. If he doesn't get on base, they put him on 1st in the 9th for a batter or two then pull him.
