  1. Hey, they didn’t get whupped like the Cowboys today. They were on their heels all day after the two awful PI calls. Eventually the refs will stop picking on Arnold. Offense still is out of sync but it will get there. Hutch has found a new gear.
  2. Embarrassing showing from the refs on the PI and no-PI calls. Embarrassing showing from the Lions staff at the end of the first half. Embarrassing showing by Goff. Embarrassing showing by Ben Johnson. Just bad, sloppy football all around. Hutch almost saved the game single-handedly.
  3. If not for the debacle at the end of the first half, it is 22-20.
  4. Hutch will have to win with a strip sack TD.
  5. Unsung hero on the defense is Levi O.
  6. Vita Vea out for game with knee. Feed Monty.
  7. Again, we have got to stop force feeding ASB.
  8. We have got to stop force feeding ASB.
  9. You can’t spell Goff without “off” and he is off today.
  10. In other words he gave them all atomic wedgies.
  11. Three sacks in ten minutes of play time. Insane.
  12. There’s a clip out there of him deadlifting 705 lbs.
  13. I wrote at the end of OT that Montgomery was mad they stopped calling his number in the second half. And he deserved to be mad. He ran hard in the first half, including picking up a first down in a short yardage situation where he had been hit behind LOS and turned upside down but just kept churning his legs to get beyond the marker. Only got three carries in the second. It is hard to imagine anyone running more angry than he did in OT. He is a stud.
  14. Almost the whole secondary is new, and holdovers like Branch are in new positions. They were out of sync. The offense was out of sync. The DL harassed Stafford all night which is great. He was smart and talented enough to get the ball out fast. It is great that the team has a smashmouth running game to fall back on when it is needed.
  15. Dan Campbell says a little of both. Rookie DBs made some mistakes, including Rakestraw, who cost the team great field position by knocking a perfect punt into the end zone. Offense was largely out of sync, except Montgomery and Jamo. People are underestimating the Rams. Remember this is the franchise where Holmes learned to be a great evaluator of talent. They won a SB, had a terrible season after Stafford got hurt, then gave Detroit a run in the playoffs last year. Yes Aaron Donald retired and they had injuries but are a good team with good players, good coaching, and a great QB.
  16. He was actually in the frame with the receivers he was covering, which often wasn’t the case last year. 😂 He got picked on a bit by a veteran QB. But he battled. I also didn’t think the calls against him were egregious. He will clean up some things and improve.
