  1. I don’t want to jinx it but he could become an iconic player.
  2. I admit that I laughed at that one.
  3. Now would be the perfect time to trade him for draft picks! /s
  4. I bet his Super Bowl ring is inscribed with the words “Garbage Time.”
  5. “Hey Siri… how many sixth round picks can I get for a second?”
  6. I joked that Campbell would start calling the defense, but I suspect he will spend all week in defensive meeting rooms. They won’t fire Glenn, but they may shuffle coaching responsibilities down the chain.
  7. Like I said in the other thread, if they sign Lamar Jackson, let’s hope he can play safety. And maybe we don’t need Jaymo on offense. Can he play corner opposite Jeff Okudah?
  8. Lions now lead the league in TDs with 18. Philly and Baltimore have 15. If the Lions sign Lamar Jackson next season, he better be able to play safety like Ed Reed.
  9. Like the rest of them, Hutch did not seem to have been coached to know what to do with the rollouts. Seattle must have run that thirty times.
  10. Yes, as I said, Glenn never figured out what to do about the rollouts. And they still can’t slow a mobile QB.
  11. Hutch is dinged. Paschal is injured. Levi is injured. Melifonwu is injured. What did Glenn have to do with that? If anything the blame is on Holmes for gambling on an injured DL in the second round and for missing (?) on Kerby Joseph. Fourth round and later is a crap shoot and he hit on Rodrigo. But Glenn did get outcoached today. He never figured out what to do with the counter bootleg. Seattle did it all day.
  12. I’m waiting for Campbell to start calling the defense.
  13. You know who else is not explosive? Hockenson. Oh wait… 😂
  14. I take back my complaints about Jamaal Williams and am glad he proved me wrong.
  15. Yes they should have scored with enough time for Seattle to torch our defense once more before the end of the half.
  16. The whole defense looks awful today. They have injuries with no depth on DL or in secondary, and they have been weak at linebacker for years. The post I was responding to was SOL-ing about this staff's inability to identify or develop talent. Okudah is markedly better than he was under Fatricia.
  17. Like to see Hutch in coverage! /s
  18. Sewell is potentially an all-pro RT. ASB was the steal of his draft. Rodrigo looks like the steal of his. Jury is out on Jaymo but he could be the fastest player in the NFL when he arrives. Under this staff, Swift (when healthy) became the most explosive RB in the league. Okudah has come back from a torn achilles to flash potential of being a shutdown corner. The roster was trash when they came in. They are now solid at starter at most positions, but don't have the depth to overcome injuries to a starting safety and five of their top eight players on offense. If you thought this team was deep enough to contend this year, after winning only three times last year, that's on you, not on them.
  19. Waiting for the complaints about Dan Campbell's play calling on that fake punt that worked. Edit: Gulp.
  20. I thought Russell Wilson was gone.
  21. The Leos aren't going to make it easy on us fans today, are they?
  22. Oh please. Arguably Williams wasn't even the best RB in the Lions-Vikings game. The Bears had a guy go for 157 on 20 carries with two touchdowns. Cordarelle Patterson carried 17 times for 141 yards. Nick Chubb went for 113 yards on 23 carries. Are you telling me that you really, honestly, truly believe that Williams had a better game than those three? And there are a handful more who also arguably had as good a game as Williams. So if Williams was the best RB on Sunday, how awful did the Lions OL grade out to make his performance more impressive than those? Williams had a good game on Sunday, for a backup running back. But the explosive offense was all coming through Swift. I hope we get to a point where we don't need to pick up running backs in free agency.
