  1. There. Montgomery is an explosive player.
  2. Where the eff is David Montgomery? Pound the ball for a while.
  3. Does the defense know this is a tackle football game?
  4. It was a great first drive but again Montgomery has been this team’s identity. They are misusing him.
  5. And the Dodgers have two Japanese players with contracts that add up to a billion. We are living in crazy times. Anyway, Detroit 33 - Minnesota 16.
  6. In her article she wrote Many teams, including the Rams, 49ers, Lions, Colts and Eagles, have called the Bengals on numerous players, including LB Logan Wilson, CB Cam Taylor-Britt and, of course, DE Trey Hendrickson. For now, some teams don’t believe Cincinnati has any real interest in moving its core pieces. She put five teams in a bucket as having called the Bengals about three players. Clearly not every team asked about every player. And clearly Brad is not looking to add to the LBs, which is probably the team's deepest unit. I don't believe for a second that Brad had any conversation about Hendrickson beyond "What are you looking for in return?" Brad is looking for depth at CB.
  7. He had a shoulder cleanup in the offseason. I wonder if there was some unexpected complication, or if they just did the best they could and what you see is what you get.
  8. Yes, I’ve been thinking about the contrast between how Brad did it, silent like an assassin, and how Jerry did it, all clumsy and in the press. We have a well run team.
  9. Lions history needs to be divided into BC/AD: Before Campbell, After Dan.
  10. He has thrown a couple of moon balls that I like to think Kerby would have come down with.
  11. Yes was just thinking the same thing. It needs to be banned. And last year’s Super Bowl victory vacated. 😂
  12. This tush push play is a disaster. Giants stripped Hurts while he was still pushing but refs gave him forward progress. This play cannot be allowed to continue if it is going to be officiated so that the play starts when it suits the Eagles and end when it suits the Eagles.
  13. Kids these days. Edit: Watching the highlights, the assist from Copp on Berggren’s PP goal was a great play. And Compher’s tip in showed incredible skill just in redirecting the puck but in manipulating his stick to make sure it was a legal play.
  14. Hear that NFL? Rig it for the new most popular team in the league.
  15. Were they out past curfew?
  16. They should just rename the award to Dan Campbell Coach of the Year then they can give it to any also-ran they like.
  17. If they had kept Aaron Rodgers they’d be at least 3-4.
  18. There is a reason Woody’s team is the same old Jets and Sheila’s team is not the same old Lions.
  19. I listened to moving the chains earlier on SiriusXM. They had Todd Bowles on and asked him if he feels he has been getting clear communication from officials. He said, basically, we are getting whatever communication they are getting from New York. He did not seem to pleased about the state of officiating these days, but then again he was not too pleased about the loss.
  20. I thought the ill-fated Evans pass was a catch. Was surprised replay didn’t rule that way. I thought the Wheat sack was probably a trip. But these things are hard to catch in real time and what’s the difference between a trip and running while being shoved by a 300 pound OP? I am not in favor of giving Park Avenue more latitude to intervene in calls like that, just like I am OK that they did not intervene on the illegal contact not called on the 4th down throw to TeSlaa. Win some, lose some.
  21. They have been a little out of sync but are still third in NFL in PPG. A big part of this, I think, is the Decker injury. Even though he was back last night I think he had two penalties and gave up at least one sack. Hopefully he can get right over the bye.
  22. Not out of the question that MCDC is in sole possession of #2 on that list by the end of the season. Certainly by early next season, and by the end of next season he may take over for Rasputin.
  23. Going into the bye at 5-2. Tied for second in NFC conference standings. Leading NFC and second in NFL in point differential. Getting healthy at the right time. All good.
