The March for Our lives protest claims to have had between 1.2m and 2m people across the country protesting against gun violence in the wake of the Parkland school shooting.
It's quite clearly false to suggest school shootings haven't been protested.
It seems like that's happening a lot around these protests too. The AP article said that many of the students' suspensions have been lifted. Most charges against students at University of Texas were dropped to, I believe the article I read said 57 students had the charges dropped.
It's interesting that literal avowed neo nazis get police protection when they protest in this country, and the college students protesting get arrested.
So if they have to determine each act is personal or presidential, each of those is going to have a whole string of hearings and arguments and decisions and appeals. This is going nowhere anytime soon.
Trumps lawyers were still arguing the notion that the president needs to be impeached before he is criminally charged..... I wonder what happens when a president just resigns before he gets impeached. If he does that, is he unable to be criminally charged?
