Aside from that lead off triple, this has been pretty rough offensively with our starters playing. I know it’s only the third game, but I can’t help thinking we really needed that right handed bat at third. I wonder if a trade possibility will open up by the end of camp.

Manning just doesn’t look right. Whatever was going on at Toledo with him last year hasn’t gotten any better. It looks like he’s giving max effort, but when it comes out of his hand, there’s nothing on it.

Hoping for Griffin as well.

I’d like to see a six man rotation with Mize being teamed with Gibson-Long in a Tanana/Scherrer type split to save innings pitched.
