I get it. That was Boston for me for about ten years. I had to say "enough already" and couldn't switch away fast enough. Then one day I listened with "fresh ears" and appreciated what they did.
The thing with AC/DC is that a lot of the same songs get way overplayed and people write them off as playing the same three chords over and over. The deeper cuts defy that. Guitarists appreciate the power of what they play because it sounds so huge and its just a guitar and amps turned really loud.
But then you hear something like this (as a guitarist) and it is so mind blowingly good, fast and aggressive. It is a talent to play something that fast articulately without relying on a ton of distortion/gain/delay. A lot of these shredders from the 80's and modern day rely on a lot of gain and delay.
I equate it with "Germans are good at engineering". If saying a race of people is good at something, that's usually a compliment. Someone saying "Jews control the world because they're good with money" is a different rabbit trail.
Speaking of AC/DC, here is an isolated track of Malcom playing Whole Lotta Rosie. Very dry sound. Maybe a touch of reverb but that's it. Players tend to over-distort when covering them but its a very raw sound.
Look chief, stop misrepresenting me to try to make your points and instead respond to what I actually said. Have some stones and apologize. STOP GASLIGHTING ME!!!! Apologize and move on.
So that's what this mornings contributions have looked like from the rest of the board's perspective...
I have the DTE service plan which covers repairs. Any water heater over ten years old are automatically deemed to be in need of replacement.
@Motor City Sonics Plan on spending around $1500.
It is rare to perform a repair on a water heater. I do know that the big boxes vet their contractors when you buy them there but I would prefer to use a local plumbing company. I can't offer any suggestions for that side of the state.
Really enjoyable game. I was rooting for a Rangers win and then began rooting for a perfecto/no-hitter. The Rangers scored a run and I was too tired to finish it. I'm happy for my Rangers fan friends!
Most of the time yes. There is a guy named Daniel Thrasher that makes some really funny videos in this style. He's a really talented musician and his skits are usually pretty funny.
