Biff Mayhem

I have an ipod home in my workshop at home which also works as a radio and have enjoyed listening to Under the Radar while cleaning up the mess I always leave at the end of each project. I listen to terrestrial radio more now that I canceled Sirius, and was listening to UTR on the way home from Tulip time on Sunday. Its not the sort of music I would normally seek out or purposely listen to, but I found all the selections very enjoyable.

Holy crap! That was incredible. Very skilled drivers for sure. I don't think I saw the fleeing cyclist put a foot down even once while managing those hairpin turns.

I do my taxes with TurboTax and then Credit Karma is "free" once I'm done. "Fantastic" I think because I'd like to keep an eye on anything going on with my credit. Now I am getting multiple non-stop CC offers daily via email.

Just finished Waco on Netflix. I had barely paid attention to it when it happened thirty years ago. I had seen a dramatic recreation of the events but this is the first time I've seen actual footage and interviews with those closely involved. Koresh was a nut job and at the end of it all the blame squarely falls on his shoulders. That said, the government sure screwed the pooch on it.

I think you'll get a kick out of the interactions between Quintus (the guy who first approached the coach as Nicodemus was travelling) and Matthew and Jesus. He's so devious and yet amused when he is stood up to; especially by Matthew who is apparently quite autistic.

I play volleyball with a bunch of 20-somethings and they supply the music. Its forgettable (although strangely not annoying) but definitely follows a cookie cutter formulaic creation process.

I binged the final season of Better Call Saul. Man, what a great show. What a great, great show. I'll have to look to see if that final season thread is here or lost to space on the old site. It should be a great read and provide insight to things I may have missed. Poor Howard. That really bothered me.

Admin assistant at my chiropractor. It was a "woah" moment.

A woman started working at my company three years ago and she always wore a mask. We interacted often until she started working remotely not long after. She was in the office recently and I didn't even recognize her!

I think a lot of people will skip it because it is about Jesus but they'll miss out on a terrific series with phenomenal writing and acting. It is so well done. Watching it will no more make someone a Christian than watching Breaking Bad made them a drug dealer and yet they'll miss out on a fantastic show because "Jesus TV".

Mine did that too. Took about ten seconds after the liquid reached the top of the test strip.

It took me almost three years too. In a way I was glad to finally get it over with and find out what it was all about. One of my kids got it a second time last week and the rest of us were fine. What an odd disease.
