  1. FTR, that was in addition to the shipping cost and was collected by FedEx and USPS. USPS was COD and FedEx sent a bill.
  2. I've paid customs on two guitars and have ordered at least 15 from Asia. It's hit and miss but was around $70 every time.
  3. @pfife: https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/w1053408949?conversionType=service_page_search It's a little beat up but it's a highly desirable era. You'll probably pay around $250 for shipping so factor that in.
  4. I said it, not long after the game, that people will remember the game because of that missed call. If not for the missed call, we'd probably rarely, if ever, bring up that perfecto ever again. Joyce actually did him a favor.
  5. Kody seems like an affable young man from the post game interview.
  6. Not currently listening to them but I went to see some Geezer rock last night. Loverboy opened. They were good. Lots of fun traveling down memory lane. The music was tight and Mike Reno danced around some notes but he hit the big one in Turn Me Loose. I suspect there was some electronic assistance but don't care because it's such a great part. Styx took the stage second and smoked. I didn't expect much but they brought it. Very energetic and the harmonies were spot on. It was a great arena show and I'd see them again. REO Speedwagon closed out and they were good but not great. The music was well played but it lacked energy. Granted I understand that Cronin is 70 and isn't going to be a spring chicken. However the dudes from Styx are close to the same age and they were all over the place. Lots of people at the show of retirement age.....I'd say ¾ of them were visibly over 60. It was amusing to watch a woman, who had to be in her 70's, singing along at the top of her lungs with "Pour Some Sugar On Me" which was playing over the PA between bands.
  7. There are few things on this forum that bring me as much joy as when Chuck comments on Jack Morris. I'm not being facetious, I really enjoy it.
  8. I think this is my all time favorite Liotta line:
  9. I just finished The Squid Game. I can sum it up in one word: "Bizarre" . It was so Asian (my wife watches a lot of shows out of Taiwan and my girls are into anime) and so intriguing. I found myself very tense several times and that hasn't happened since the first couple of seasons of TWD.
  10. The video is from a few years ago. Its Double H Canine Training in Kentucky.
  11. I don't know what a CISSP is but congratulations!
  12. Yeah, it opens up a lot of questions. Does Marty tell Wendy to get lost? Does she talk him back into doing more? Jonah is on the same path as Marty, does he revisit the opportunity to work with another bad organization. It had to be a rush for a 14 year old and he could spend the rest of his life chasing that high again.
  13. Spoilers because it sounds like most of us have finished it: Ruthie was my favorite and I was so happy she was getting her life together (as much as possible considering she just buried a guy under her swimming pool) and it just broke my heart because I was rooting for her. I had hoped that Marty and the kids got away, Ruthie became a legit citizen and Wendy got a comeuppance. Then Clare flinched...... I think at the end of it all, Marty genuinely cared about Ruth and his loyalty to his family caused him to follow his own personal Darlene down too many bad paths.
  14. When the part happened that I was mad about, I thought for sure that Three would be on the roof of the trailer performing sniper duties much like what had happened earlier with Rachel. Then nope. That broke my heart.
  15. Finished Ozark and I'm mad. I don't think there is a spoiler option on this so I won't post thoughts until enough time goes by allowing all interested parties to see it. I was sick this weekend so I finished The Good Place. They ended that properly. I really enjoyed that show. Next up: Squid Game. I'm ¾ of the way through episode one and I'm bracing myself.
  16. It has a good beat and I can dance to it. I'll give it a five.
  17. You're. Show me where I have ever defended the use of the "horse dewormer" or have subscribed to conspiracy theories. Spoiler alert: you can't. What I am merely pointing out is you are a bomb thrower and add very little value to any conversation I've read in this forum. Your (not you're) latest "horse dewormer" bomb merely proves that if CNN says it, you're falling in line. My point is, from that video, the networks and large news providers have a monetary interest in protecting pfizer and any kind of cure/symptom alleviation that doesn't involve big pharm is verboten and they use language like "horse dewormer" to paint it in a bad light. Congrats. Or should I say "bahh!".
  18. Revisit it along with the McDonald's double drive through. It was a great read.
