  1. I actually was going to add that we will see Mario back in a couple of years if not sooner. People have short term memories and there will be the short term "I miss Rod" from the casual fans but if they can bring in the right 2nd person, they'll quickly become acclimated.
  2. That was fun to watch. That's some pro level drone flying right there.
  3. Mario was a professional and extremely milquetoast. I was proud of him that he finally had enough of Rod and had the balls to expose him. It's too bad he lost his job because of it. Rod was a clown who rode the coattails of his two weeks on the Tigers in 1984 and the color of his skin on the tail of the Garner hiring fallout from MLB.
  4. #1 Do You Feel Like We Do (Live) - Frampton (the ultimate stay in the car until it's finished song) Then in no particular order: Holy Wars/Punishment Due - Megadeth Snortin Whiskey - Pat Travers Nobody's Fault - Aerosmith Elo Kiddies - Cheap Trick 100,000 Years - Kiss Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner - Iron Maiden La Do Da - Journey Aerials - System of a Down Pleiades - King's X
  5. He was recently on Adam Carolla's podcast and it seems the rumors are true that he is really one of the most decent human beings to have ever inhabited the planet.
  6. If you've never seen Weird Al live, do it. Fantastic show.
  7. I suspect a lot of people's immune systems are down.
  8. I liked some of Lennon's stuff but I am of the opinion that he needed McCartney more than McCartney needed Lennon. YMMV. Together they were gold.
  9. Our esteemed friend Ed Goldsworthy used to like to say that the only good McCartney solo song was "Maybe I'm Amazed". Knowing his style of online interaction, I never really was sure if he was being serious or cantankerous (as he was wont to be on occasion). I always really enjoyed the Paul solo stuff much more than the other three.
  10. This weekend I was doing some repair work on a couch and had Fidrych's MNB game on youtube and then segued into the Disco Demolition game. Harry Carey was calling for the White Sox so that was fun. It was also interesting to hear the commentator keep referring to the WS as "we" so this isn't exclusively a Hawk thing.
  11. Do you ever suspect that Al Avila recognizes you when you're at the ballpark and gives you a long look as he ascends the escalator?
  12. This is where Troppens should pipe in......if he ever checked in!
  13. Mark and Lee, I'm sorry you got sick. Hopefully the antibodies last a good long time and I'm glad it was "mild" compared to earlier strains. The vaccine works.
  14. I’m not giving this turd any money but it puts a smile on my face knowing that receiving a video message from this liar and cheat to a lot of people on this board would be a really good troll.
  15. I'll get the "is this still available" on Marketplace and I would reply with "Yes, when do you want to pick it up?" No response. So now if I list on Marketplace I am sure to include that if the ad is up, the product is available so lets not do the "is this available" dance. It's also common that someone will contact me on marketplace just so they can talk gear. Sometimes that's interesting and sometimes its the equivalent of the "golf guy who has all the golf equipment and clothes but is Senor Slice".
  16. So I’ve purchased a couple of Grecos from Japan to flip. I also found a bucket list Hamer Standard clone. That is not being flipped.
  17. Look, man, I have a black belt in Why-I-Oughta.
  18. You are very welcome. It actually makes my day when I know that someone benefited because I chose to say something.
  19. Son of a........... I met his dad and uncle at the final game at TS. I had a Catalanotto jersey and they came up and introduced themselves. I was so mad when they traded him.
  20. I recently bought a safety razor and found out that watching instructional videos on youtube is not only helpful, it is necessary. I started using it like I would the other razors I've been using my whole life and there was quite a bit of blood. My piece of advice is that these razors are great but you need to edumacate yourself on how to use them properly so you get your best and most inexpensive shave ever.
