  1. Bob could have used that money to fix his teeth ages ago. Yeah, I said it.
  2. On Saturday I overheard a 10 year old ask someone if they liked the band Imagine Dragons. Their response didn't matter as he had "imagine draggin deez nuts" was lock and loaded.
  3. Having experienced a government run budget, this is very true.
  4. Sorry you have to endure that Mark.
  5. Without it getting political, what the heck does Sportz twitter name mean? If it's political, you can answer in a direct message.
  6. I looked it up and that was pretty cool. Good on him.
  7. Oh yes! So what if I have to screen mirror to my tv, I am on this.
  8. I am so stealing that. Reminds me of one of my favorite music jokes: What does a Deadhead say when they run out of pot? "Boy, this music sucks".
  9. It was a matter of pride to wear any Tigers gear back then. When I spotted anyone wearing the olde english D it would be a nod. Then 2006 happened and every dumb fan of the terrible Huge Show started wearing that gear and I was reluctant to engage in conversation with anyone who relied on that windbag for opinions on the Tigers. I stopped wearing it for a few years as a result.
  10. I had one Harley with obnoxiously loud pipes. The thing is with those is they don't have to be obnoxiously loud if a rider knows how to control the throttle. I often scoff at the "loud pipes save lives" slogan but it is true in some cases as it does allow awareness of a biker. However the counter to this is a LED headlight and driving with the brights on during the day. That actually creates more awareness. Sure it can be visibly annoying temporarily but it is far less annoying than the loud pipes and the first step in defensive riding is visibility. In summary, yes people who get a thrill out of driving down the road or sitting at an intersection repeatedly "expressing their manhood" are douchebags. Their brothers in arms are the "rolling coal" and truck nuts contingency.
  11. I was today years old when I connected that Joyce Dewitt and Jane Weidlin could be sisters.
  12. That would actually work to my advantage since I have tickets I can't use and Stubhub's resale option is not operational right now.
  13. Knowing that most of that scene was improvised makes it even better. You can see Jerry trying to keep from breaking character.
  14. If anyone needs tickets to the Wednesday game, I have two in section 123 in the shade. Tiger den seats (larger chairs with a table). IM me for info.
  15. I need to chime in on one thing: Little Caesar's Deep Dish and thin crust is fantastic. The hot n ready? Not so much.
  16. Speaking of Cocaine, I have always adored this version of it.
  17. Hot Diggity Dog! Those kittens have been around people before so someone "disposed" of them.

  19. I watched season one way back when and thought it was just okay. Winnona Ryder's acting was atrocious. Season two was highly recommended by a person whose taste I trust and it was much better than season one. I finished it over the weekend and just started season three. Ryder has gotten progressively better and bonus: she still looks amazing.
  20. Saw Top Gun Maverick. Kinda cheesy in some parts but the action is amazing and I found myself tense several times. When news broke that they were making it, I was cynical and thought it would be terrible. It's not. It's definitely a theater movie. We saw it in a Phoenix theater where the chairs vibrated etc. Definitely worth that experience! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
