There were rumors swirling that Rod and Mario despised each other and people with keen ears recognized it. It all came to a head one day when Mario had had enough of Rod just sitting there reading twitter and not verbally analyzing. Mario decided to go silent and there was a dead air for an extended period of time before Rod finally noticed. Apparently strong words were exchanged after the broadcast which accelerated into fisticuffs. The men were summarily dismissed from the payroll.

I actually was going to add that we will see Mario back in a couple of years if not sooner. People have short term memories and there will be the short term "I miss Rod" from the casual fans but if they can bring in the right 2nd person, they'll quickly become acclimated.
Mario was a professional and extremely milquetoast. I was proud of him that he finally had enough of Rod and had the balls to expose him. It's too bad he lost his job because of it.
Rod was a clown who rode the coattails of his two weeks on the Tigers in 1984 and the color of his skin on the tail of the Garner hiring fallout from MLB.
#1 Do You Feel Like We Do (Live) - Frampton (the ultimate stay in the car until it's finished song)

He was recently on Adam Carolla's podcast and it seems the rumors are true that he is really one of the most decent human beings to have ever inhabited the planet.
Our esteemed friend Ed Goldsworthy used to like to say that the only good McCartney solo song was "Maybe I'm Amazed". Knowing his style of online interaction, I never really was sure if he was being serious or cantankerous (as he was wont to be on occasion).
I always really enjoyed the Paul solo stuff much more than the other three.
This weekend I was doing some repair work on a couch and had Fidrych's MNB game on youtube and then segued into the Disco Demolition game. Harry Carey was calling for the White Sox so that was fun. It was also interesting to hear the commentator keep referring to the WS as "we" so this isn't exclusively a Hawk thing.
Mark and Lee, I'm sorry you got sick. Hopefully the antibodies last a good long time and I'm glad it was "mild" compared to earlier strains. The vaccine works.
I’m not giving this turd any money but it puts a smile on my face knowing that receiving a video message from this liar and cheat to a lot of people on this board would be a really good troll.
I'll get the "is this still available" on Marketplace and I would reply with "Yes, when do you want to pick it up?" No response.
So now if I list on Marketplace I am sure to include that if the ad is up, the product is available so lets not do the "is this available" dance.
It's also common that someone will contact me on marketplace just so they can talk gear. Sometimes that's interesting and sometimes its the equivalent of the "golf guy who has all the golf equipment and clothes but is Senor Slice".
