  1. I'm not saying they'll be St. Louis from 2019 and go worst to first and win it all. They won't as their defense is still too poor for that kind of a turnaround and we need more guys on offense to pick it up a bit. They don't quite have that level of physicality that St. Louis had along the boards and in their own end either. But if McLellan can keep the team playing with this level of energy and physicality than I think they will make the playoffs. This has been as fun as nearly anything we watched under the Lalonde era. There was that run we had, right before we collapsed last season, that was a lot of fun and felt like we were turning a corner. But other than that, the Lalonde era didn't produce much.
  2. Am I wrong or a bad fan for thinking the Vikings are going to win? I don't think they're doing to blow us out, I think this is going to be a down to the wire type of matchup. A much closer loss than when we lost to the Bills for sure. I thought the offense was expected to carry an unrealistic load in that Buffalo game. But I still feel like we're going to lose and feel like a bad fan as a result. I can't shake feeling this way because of all our injuries to on defense, at critical positions along the front 7 and at CB. I just worry that Darnold is going to get a ton of time inside the pocket. With no pass rush I think our CBs will struggle to cover and contain Jefferson and Addison and they will have big games as a result. I'm not sayin both Jefferson and Addison are going to have 100+ yards each or multiple touchdowns each. I just feel really insecure about where this defense is at and that the offense is once again, as with the Buffalo game, going to be asked to do too much.
  3. Yeah, I didn't expect to see him back until the mid or end of the playoffs. This guy is tough as they come for making it back this soon.
  4. That's crazy that Anzalone is going to play. What an absolute dude. I'm sorry I ever criticized this guy.
  5. Duck Jauron was the only Lions HC, and he was an interim HC, to be hired as a HC somewhere else. It was Jauron that coached the Bills not Bevell.
  6. Arizona State just got robbed. How in the world was that not a targeting call against Texas?
  7. Run and Shoot. The Big Buck is still the winningest coach in Lions history. I'm sure Campbell will pass Rasputin in the win column, but it goes to show you how pathetic this organization has been that Fontes managed to have the most wins.
  8. We'd be 11-2 with any kind of decent QB and WR play. Oh well, let's get it next year.
  9. Michigan's defense did what it needed to do today, without its best player once again. Props to the D for winning yet another big game this year.
  10. No doubt, it's hard to believe the defending National Champions, couldn't have found a better QB than what they had in their room. New coach or not, no excuse for why the talent level was this bad at the most important position in your team.
  11. News at 11, Orji is a terrible passer and really limits what Michigan can do on offense. In the limited chance he does get to throw the ball he goes and throws a pick. I don't think we'll be finding the endzone again today, so the defense better keep holding Milore down and making stops.
  12. KIRBY!!!!!! They've run that play a few times and Kirby jumped the route.
  13. Whoever 0 is for the Niners literally stood there and watched him walk in.
  14. We had to score on this drive. Edit, at least we got the FG.
  15. Have we gotten a single QB hurry or pressure on Purdy today?
  16. I think they're in trouble next week against Minnesota, let alone in first round of the playoffs.
  17. How did they deem they he had possession of that? He was clearly bobbling the ball there and didn't have full possession.
  18. Is that puzzling to you though really? Trump and his MAGA supporters think Mr. Scrooge was a better person before the ghosts came to visit him. It's their bootstrap, cutthroat, libertarian, survival of the fittest mentality.
  19. Harbaugh was uniquely able to make NIL work for a season where he essentially used it to incentivize his good players to stay and grow within the system. I don't know that doing things that way was ever going to be a sustainable long term model for doing business. We had to adopt to the free agency model of NIL and paying players like they were professional free agents. We have and so far on the recruiting end, it's really worked out. Now we'll see if Moore and company can coach these players up and develop them into something special or will he be Jimbo Fisher 2.0.
  20. What a win by Washington. I'm pleasantly surprised they pulled off that big win. This greatly increases our chances of the #1 seed now.
  21. What does active really mean though? Will he play?
  22. Is Iffy going to play or is this one of those Mosley situations where he is activated but still doesn't see the field?
  23. In all seriousness and poking fun at Chris Ilitch aside, what deal seems more likely to happen at this point, Bregman or Santander? It seemed like we were really high on Bregman at the start of free agency and now I'm not so sure. It seems like Santander is getting a more traction over the last couple of days.
