  1. Who the hell ever called it DTE Energy Music Theater anyways? It's always been Pine Knob. What was everyone's first concert at Pine Knob? Mine was Sharon, Lois, and Bram at a kid.
  2. I hope Brit Hume tweets about why hasn't Trump been charged yet for tax evasion or election interference next.
  3. I listened to his podcast where he was interviewing that woman who was a researcher on global civil wars. She basically called Trump an Ethnic Entrepreneur which I thought was appropriate. She drew comparisons between where we are at now thanks to Trump and where the new Serbia, the former Yugoslavia, was at under Slobodan Milosevic after the fall of the Iron Curtin. A frightening but accurate comparison to where we are heading. I'm not saying Trump is Milosevic, but the state of where we are at and the tactical ethnic approach that both Trump and Milosevic use is similar.
  4. Right, combine that with higher prices everywhere and Biden and the Dems are doomed in 2022/24 if one or both don't turn around in a big way. It's a shame that we are on the brink of losing our democracy and people will vote Republican or stay, but that's what's going to happen if covid and inflation don't start falling.
  5. That's what I was getting at to in my post. I think people felt that transmissions would be reduced if they got vaccinated, Covid would slow down, and normalcy would return as a result. Along with Covid still being prevalent, I think that's got people fatigued. The sense of normalcy hasn't returned like people thought it would.
  6. He won 3 games and we've got people christening him like he's going to be Andy Reid because he took over play calling and won a few games. Look, I think there is no coach that could win with this roster. But let's pump the breaks on hyping him up like's an offensive genius or anything close. We went up to week 10 with people ready launch this guy out of a cannon and now he's suddenly he's a hero. If he hired Anthony Lynn than that failure is laid at his feet as a bad hire. If you hire the wrong coordinators and the team struggles as a result it's your fault for bringing that guy in.
  7. Not that it matters, because the average voter will have zero recollection of it in the voting booth, but I would remind folks who want to blame the $1,400 stimulus checks that were apart of the ARP package that then President Trump in December of 2020 wanted to do $2,000 stimulus checks. So if Biden's $1,400 ARP checks caused all this inflation you have to think Trump's $2,000 checks would have caused Zimbabwean style hyperinflation. I just want to be fair and consistent, nothing more.
  8. Covid is still going on and people naturally have Covid fatigue. The vaccines didn't give us a magic victory parade over Covid like some hoped and thought would happen. I think public health officials and the broader medical community created a false sense of hope that vaccinations would end the pandemic and stop people from getting Covid, even if it was never directly implied, I think a lot of people implicitly felt that way about getting a vax. Clearly they have not ended the pandemic. Inflation went up largely as a result of supply chain issues and a sudden rush in demand due to people having not spent a whole lot of money over the past year. It was also effected by tightening in the oil and gas market and the mass resignation of workers and the rise in wages that came with it. From publications I've read from the San Francisco Fed they said about .3% of inflation is attributed to the American Rescue Plan that Biden and the Democrats passed. So well some are hot to trot about blaming the ARP stimulus, I don't think it had as big an effect on inflation as partisan hacks want you to believe it did. The other problem for Biden is he and the Democrats bumbled their agenda and not only didn't get BBB passed, they looked like children fighting with each other all the while negotiating it. Democrats and the White House have done a terrible job messaging what's in BBB and an even worse job controlling their infighting during the negotiations. Combine that with the fact that nothing has passed yet, and it is certain to hurt the President's reputation along with all the aforementioned things. If inflation stays high through most of 2022 and doesn't start coming down in the next 4-6 months, if covid and these new antivirals don't start working better, and if some version of BBB with better messaging doesn't pass than the party and President are screwed.
  9. Were any of the QBs on the list. Mac Jones maybe?
  10. A real snowflake and wimp indeed. The guy is such a fake tough guy. He folds under the least bit of pressure.
  11. Again, I believe Chris Cuomo was initially suspended and fired for running interference on behalf of his brother. The sexual assault allegations were the icing on the cake. Was not Sean Hannity trying to run interference for the President. Doesn't he have a moral and legal responsibility and journalistic integrity to revel to law enforcement and the public if he is aware that a situation involving violence and a crime was to take place?
  12. America has 329 million people (estimated). According to the United States Federal Register there are 256,662,010 voting age adults (estimated) in America. There are 73,100,000 children (estimated) in the United States. 155,508,985 adults voted in the 2020 election for President. So is Lindell talking about jailing not only everyone that voted in the 2020 election but also many non-voters and children as well? What evidence does he have? If he does have the evidence, why hasn't he presented to a court of law yet? If he has presented the evidence to a court of law, whom was it and when was it? Why hasn't that court of law followed up yet on the evidence if indeed Lindell did present it? If a court of law finds that some 300,000,000 million Americans, roughly 91% of the population, did commit some form of voter fraud or election interference as Lindell is claiming what happens then? Presuming that a vast majority if not all of the Prosecutors, Judges, Defense Attorneys and potential jurors would be apart of the 300,000,000 corrupt individuals, then what? Who tries and prosecutes all the cases? Who are the judges on all these cases? Who are the defense attorneys representing these people? Who would sit on the jury trials for these people? If these people 300,000,000 people are indeed culpable as Lindell claims, how many of them are flight risks? How many need to be held without bond or tethered? Where would those who need to be reprimanded without bond be held in the mean time? Would there be enough space to hold all those who are flight risk? Who would watch over those individuals as well, considering most of the Prison Guards would presumably be caught up in the 300,000,000 people Lindell is talking about? If they get convicted, then do we have enough prisons to house 300,000,000 people or even half that, if only half were guilty of election interference or voter fraud? If we don't currently have enough prisons to house the 300,000,000 or 150,000,000 people guilty of these crimes, can we afford to build new facilities to house these people? Where would these facilities be built at and who would build them presuming most of the construction workers would be caught up in the 300,000,000 people Lindell is referencing. When in prison who would feed, cloth, and monitor these individuals considering, as I stated earlier, that most of the Prison Guards, would be likely caught up in the 300,000,000 people that Lindell is referencing. When these prisoners get out of jail too do they have to go on probation? If they have to go on probation, would there be enough Probationary Officers to monitor the 300,000,000 people Lindell is referencing?
  13. Glad to see Medicare For All is gaining support on the right.
  14. Jesus Christ Boris Johnson looks sad and pathetic as he gets ROASTED in Parliament. I wish we had a Parliament like this.
  15. Someone T&P finally likes I hope. Ken Dorsey, QB coach with the Bills would be my first choice. Kevin Wilson, Ohio State OC would be my second choice.
  16. The only trade back deal I would take at this point is with one of the teams who has two 1sts this year (Eagles, Giants, Jets) and I get both of their 1sts this year. Otherwise, I want to stand pat and take either one of Thibs or Hutch. We need talent all around, that's true. We need elite playmakers on both sides of the ball in the worst way though. This team hasn't had a truly elite playmaker on it since Calvin retired and I don't want to pass up on getting one with Thibs or Hutch unless I get a haul (two 1sts or more) from another team.
  17. People get pissed when their Amazon order is delayed a week.
  18. I'm just merely pointing out that Cruz is being cold and dismissive of people with pre-existing conditions and so he should be equally cold and dismissive to the man he worships in Trump.
  19. Trump has a ton of comorbidities including obesity, hypertension, high blood pressure, and (I would guess) diabetes or pre-diabetic. Soooooooo, what's Lyin' Ted got to say to Trump?
  20. I'm going with a C+. There isn't a coach in America from Bill Belichick to Mike Tomlin to Bruce Arians who could win more than 4-5 games with this roster. This team simply lacks talent at key positions. So Campbell, like any coach, gets a pass in that regard. The beginning of the season was a train wreck and was as bad as 2008 under Rod Marinelli and Matt Millen. Then they capped off their poor start with the massacre in Philly where they played and looked as bad as they did all season. After the Philly game and Campbell taking over offensive play calling things seemed to turn around somewhat. I think they largely turned around because our QB got his confidence back after having it shattered for the first 9-10 weeks of the season. Once we had a serviceable starting QB with Goff's improved play, things settled down and team won a few games. That said, if Dan Campbell was indeed the person behind hiring Anthony Lynn and giving him play calling duties, that is a drag on his resume. Lynn clearly wasn't the guy for the job and assuming Campbell hired him, that should count as a strike against him. Campbell hired the wrong guy for the job. I also question some of Campbell's own play calling decisions, notable running on 2nd and 22, 3rd and 33. Some people may knock him on the fact that he seems to vacillate between being aggressive one moment and conservative the next, but different scenarios require different approaches, and I wont knock him right now for that. I'm still not sold on the idea that Campbell isn't just a meathead of a coach and he needs to prove to the organization and fansbase that he can right the ship on offense and hire the right guy to be his OC. With all that said, I'm sticking with my C+ grade.
  21. I like it! The guy was one of the most careful (in a smart way), cerebral and thoughtful players on the ice to ever play the game. Hopefully that thoughtful nature translate over well to the front office. He seem like the type of guy that would excel in a player development or scouting type role.
  22. That's the thing that directly undermines Craig's entire argument. He wants to hammer Democrats on crime (him having been one himself up to a few years ago) and he was the Police Chief of the very city that has high crime. What is he going to implement as Governor that he didn't as Chief? Thus far, he hasn't laid out a single policy idea and only talked about a bunch of political buzzwords.
  23. James Craig was a Democrat up until a few years ago. Craig also goes around hammering Democrats on failed crime and criminal justice policies, meanwhile, crime went up while he was Police Chief and implemented programs like Project Greenlight.
  24. See, Dana is the person I like the most. I think as far as consumer protections goes she's been as good an AG we've had since Frank Kelly. Nessel has been unafraid to go after special interests and big corporations.
