  1. Agreed. The Ravens are objectively bad. This team can beat those same teams the Eagle have, but they have to do it first.
  2. I’m actually not mad. Just pointing out a pattern of false narratives that are being put forward.
  3. Same. I’m willing to engage in a conversation though because that’s what this whole thing is for. I’ll continue to call you on your exaggerations too. Feel free to block me if you need. That will only reenforce how fragile you are, given your admitted need for a victory lap.
  4. And it was never about glorifying Ben Johnson. It was about questioning the unknown. Wondering if the transition from offensive assistant to offensive coordinator was going to work for Morton. That’s not a dig on him either, lots of people are good at one job and not at the next level. Nothing wrong with that at all. They are different jobs with different responsibilities. Take Schwartz for a Lions related example. Even if he never takes another head coaching job he is a terrific defensive coordinator. Was before the Lions and still is after. He was just an ok head coach. Had some pretty serious flaws but also had strengths.
  5. What are you looking for? A sticker? We all know that you never had any doubts at all. Ever. Got it. That kind of blind confidence isn’t exactly the positive you think it is. I was wrong about Goff. I was wrong about Gibbs. I was wrong about Jack Campbell (or Dan after the helmet thing for that matter). So what? I don’t know what I’m talking about. Neither do you. We are both just fans. Chill with the arrogance. You actually make being a fan here harder with the drama.
  6. I honestly think he was weighing the risk vs reward of diving into that mess. But it’s funny that it looked like that rung his bell.
  7. No one with any sense wrote the Lions off. People after week one were saying that it was concerning. There was change. 2/5 of the oline and both coordinators. That never meant that people thought the Lions were going to be terrible. It was concerning. The expectations were high coming in. The oline was really bad yesterday after losing the 3rd guy from last year. That doesn’t mean it’s over. But it’s concerning for when they start playing good teams. It’s also possible the Lions make adjustments and the play is better. But it’s concerning. See how one can say something without using hyperbole? Being obnoxiously rosy retroactively doesn’t help with the conversions. And building your strawmen so you can blow them over is as bad as TP in game threads looking to fire everyone (no offense TP). At least he can say it’s all in the heat of the moment. You are systematically choosing to beat a fictional dead horse that only exists in your mind. No one rational is saying Goff is a product of the system except you setting up your arguments.
  8. Said no one except maybe an unhinged Packers fan.
  9. I was wondering about those wires today. Seems like the only way that would be an issue is if they had the camera off to the side and I don’t know why they would ever position the camera there.
  10. Awesome time! 10/10 would go again!
  11. MichiganCardinal is here too. Great dude.
  12. It’s only the wrong call if you think your opponent can string together at 9 minute drive.
  13. Good game https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YfUjZr3b7vQDI7O7qAf-SU1pX_INRa8e/view?usp=drivesdk
  14. Needs to be someone who tackles to be considered. I bet they roll with what they have.
  15. I’ll be wearing my black St Brown jersey. Does that count?
  16. I got the impression your stance is that a tie can’t be climatic. I think that just isn’t true. To further that point, I think many NFL games end anticlimactically in regulation and almost every tie ends with some sort of climax. I think some people might not be satisfied with a tie and somehow satisfaction and excitement are being confused. I think the climax of a football game is less likely to be at the end than some earlier point. I do think if one goes into a football game thinking evenly matched teams might end up tied then one could possibly be satisfied with that outcome too, especially if the game is as exciting as this one was.
  17. Swift didn’t sell it.
  18. This on the other hand Atlanta mounted a 17-point comeback to force overtime. Steelers wide receiverPlaxico Burress was stopped one yard short of the end zone on the final play of overtime.
  19. Was the ending of the Lions game this weekend climatic? The backups were in the game.
  20. idk, that game was wild. just because there wasn’t a winner doesn’t mean it wasn’t. I think we put too much emphasis on winning and losing. That game was entertaining as hell. Of course fans want a specific team to win. I wanted Dallas to win for multiple reasons. But entertainment was not one of them. The outcome of that game was fine by me. I will say on the last play of the game GB fans were definitely rooting for a tie.
  21. ****. You inspired me. Got one just inside the 20 row 7.
  22. Hilarious https://www.instagram.com/reel/DOrk3qXDqw_
  23. Yep. I hate shootout too, fyi. This is a funny little footnote. (emphasis mine) ”NFL Research: The Packers-Cowboys 40-40 tie is the second-highest-scoring tie in NFL history, trailing only a 43-43 stalemate between the Oakland Raiders and Boston Patriots in Week 6, 1964. With the end result for the host Cowboys, teams with 40 or more points and no turnovers at home, including the playoffs, are now 300-0-1 all time in the Super Bowl era.”
  24. That was anti-climatic? Some people are hard to please. Ties shouldn’t be such a big deal. Play the time allotted then move on. Who cares about a game in September not ending in a tie? And please don’t start adding stupid ass rules to avoid a tie. Just move on to next week.
