Last bit of complaining. The NFL offices routinely call down and have penalties changed on the field and they chose not to on each of these. That’s all you need to know.
If the Rams had just gotten beat I’d watch this game tonight and hope the Lions win. I could put this one on us for losing winnable games and having our hopes rest on Baker Mayfield’s shoulders. But the way that played out was so unbelievable that it’s impossible for me to care at all. If the Lion’s picks are improved in any way by losing then I WANT them to lose. Otherwise I do not care and will be fine with GB in and Seattle out.
What? Did you think this was some sort of breaking news post? It was a comment about a list of things that were not called that I was not the only person in the world to see.
Officials made tonight’s game unwatchable. That roughing the kicker, missed intentional grounding, fake unnecessary roughness, missed 2x taunting personal fouls all in like 5 minutes. That’s almost unbelievable. Almost.
How can so many officials get so many calls wrong in such a short period of time. This has been embarrassing and frustrating and nobody but us will ever remember it.
Lions should throw the game tonight to combat this bullshit.
DeShon Elliott: Aaron Rodgers doesn’t respect us, and I don’t like none of that shit
Aaron Rodgers just pointed out that the Lions record was not above .500. That’s all.
I see the issue with wining percentage. If the Bills got the #1 seed by not playing a division champion the Chiefs could be miffed. On the other hand if the Bills get #2 because they didn’t get a chance to beat the Bengals then they would likely have a complaint as well. Nobody is at fault for a player getting hurt so it’s not like you can blame anyone. This way no one in the AFC gets bye and the #1 seed loses some of its value. The NFC would need the same for balance.
I’m biased and want the extra team, but neutral me says skip the game and leave the rest alone.
NFL ponders playoff seeding without playing Bills-Bengals
Another stupid suggestion of adding an 8th playoff team. That’s a path for the Lions to make it even if the Seahawks win.
