  1. Then the Colts get a delay of game to give the Vikings a stopped clock! What a moronic team.
  2. OT. This is hilarious. Imagine the Vikings getting their hats and shirts after this. Hahahahah. And Jeff Saturday is the perfect Colts coach.
  3. And the Vikings stop the Colts on 4th and 1 then score immediately on a 64 yard screen.
  4. Isn’t their entire 1st line essentially out? Panic I guess but how many teams can handle that?
  5. Vikings get screwed over on a fumble return for a TD, but it’s clearly a fumble that the Vikings recovered. The Colt are choking amazingly.
  6. Vikings about to score again. Should be 8 points with 6 to go. I think the Vikings are going to pull this one out.
  7. There is another penalty they never call. I’m ok with it if they always call that. Gilmore hits Jefferson in the chest with his shoulder and they called unnecessary roughness. Gilmore jumped too so I mean I wouldn’t mind if that’s a penalty if it’s always a penalty.
  8. Vikings score on this drive to open the 4th and they’ll be down 15 with 13 minutes left in the game.
  9. Ok, the Colts DB just got a personal foul for being run into by the runner. That was the most unreasonable penalty I‘ve ever seen and I’m all for safer football.
  10. If you are comfortable questioning them then you should also be comfortable allowing them to answer.
  11. The Lions could realistically beat the Bucs/Panthers or Vikings in the playoffs too.
  12. Then don’t draft a QB. Hopefully no one is saying draft just anyone. I think the side are draft a better QB vs keep Goff because he’s good enough.
  13. 1) the won the Super Bowl. You conveniently ignored that part. 2) it’s been made clear multiple times that Holmes has to be sure. Please don’t let my GM be afraid of being wrong. If he thinks there is a guy at that level then only a moron would pass because of Jared Goff. Try to do better and actually address the points made. Or just compare Stafford and Goff stats over a curated paired that were very similar.
  14. The Rams have everyone hurt and won the Super Bowl last year. Goff looks great on good offensive teams. What would Mahomes look like on a good offensive team? Drafting a better QB should not be this controversial. It’s the most important position on the field and to have an OK one is fine, but having a great one is both rare and better. If Holmes is the right man then he will only draft the right QB. And if he finds the next Mahomes then sorry Jeff, you did a good job and had stretches with numbers comparable to Stafford, but even you can see we have to go with this great QB and make multiple Super Bowls now. Let’s not be the Panthers or Jets (or Browns, 49ers, and Titans even) and not take Mahomes because we have a guy. We might be the Bears and take the wrong one, but then that means Homes isn’t the guy and it doesn’t matter anyway.
  15. This isn’t all that difficult in my opinion. If you think Goff struggles with a bad team and thrives on a good team then great, what does that analysis get you? All that matters is what would a better QB do? If Holmes is drafting a QB to replace Goff then you should probably hope they are better and thrive even more on a good team. On a bad team you just hope they survive until the team is better. Kansas City seems to have been confident that Mahomes was going to be better than Smith. The hope is you have evaluators that are right, and that they will make that upgrade when they see the opportunity.
  16. This is where I finally landed in my old age when it comes to drafting. At some point either your staff can identify good players or can’t. Higher draft picks are nice to get more options and allow a bad staff to accidentally get the right guy more often. But talented evaluators will find the right guys later as well, which is the only way to have sustained success (that or a once-in-a-lifetime QB). This year it’s the best of both worlds because of the Rams pick. Lions can win out and still get a high pick. And since I’m at the point that I trust Brad to pick the right guy more often than not, the decision to draft a QB doesn’t necessarily say anything about Goff. It’s probably is more indicative of the draft options. If he sees a once-in-a-generation guy at the top of the draft do we really think Goff would prevent him from picking that guy?
  17. This one will be interesting to see. Holmes may be the draft guy and Snead may have been the trade away the future guy.
