  1. His biggest holes are the facts that he hasn't pitched enough innings. 77 in 22 and 66 plus whatever he's done in the fall isn't enough to be considered for 2024 imo. He has to stay healthy, and throw innings.
  2. The NFL trade deadline isn't worth this long of a thread.
  3. I absolutely loved Killers of the Flower Moon. It was humane and inhumane, quiet and violent, and long and short. I was riveted to my seat the entire 3 hours and 26 minutes, and it was so well edited, that it was easy to take in every minute. This might have been DeNiro's best work ever. He was Max Cady and Don Corleone at the same time. Lily Gladstone was excellent, and Scorsese was great as well. This is among the best movies I have ever seen.
  4. The Bears killed the Raiders 30-12 with their backup.
  5. They don't really need to fix both now.
  6. Please make sure you let that be known on the original post. Thank you.
  7. That person is the Jackhole of the year
  8. And they just signed Mohammed from Minnesota.
  9. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/sean-payton-points-to-2022-lions-as-message-to-keep-fighting The Broncos are 1-5. The season appears to be over. Coach Sean Payton isn’t ready to throw in the towel. Asked by reporters on Wednesday for the message he would send to Broncos fans, Payton pointed to a team from last year that was in an even worse predicament. “There’s a fine line here between a groove and a rut,” Payton said. “You take a look, and I’ll give you an example — Detroit. A year ago, I watched it as a media member, covering a handful of tough losses. They were 1-6. I know [coach] Dan [Campbell] well, and you keep fighting. There’s a grit element involved. Some mental toughness that’s involved. Pretty soon, here they are at the end of the season. They were eliminated before [they played their final game], but they were in contention. Here they are now as one of those teams. We’re kind of in that position. We’re bowing up, and we have to.” Teams that are struggling keep trying to turn it around. The turnaround often is just one game away. For the Broncos, the first opportunity comes on Sunday, when the Packers come to town. And it will be important to avoid falling to 1-6, because the next game on the docket is a visit from the Chiefs.
  10. Dude, there's enough data on Manning. He should have value when he's cheap. Shame on you for being condescending.
  11. And I think that Gipson-Long should be a strong candidate for a starting spot. He looked very good imo.
  12. I think last year was as good as Manning will ever pitch in the majors. I think it would be good to sell high for a change.
  13. Two plays, the 45 yard pass to Jameson, then another pass to a wide open St. Brown, shows the affects that having Williams is having for the Lions...the first one at 16:47, and the next play at 19:18...I recommend this channel highly...
  14. Both SF and Philly own tie breaker, so we are still third. The job isn't done yet.
  15. In fact, I like to figure out what Ben is doing. I try to learn as much as I can from him
  16. Seriously, how many posts do you have complaining about Ben Johnson? If you don't like Ben, then you don't like ice cream. I trust Ben. He has proven himself to me.
  17. Harris already eluded to the fact that he hasn't played against AAA pitching, and needs experience playing 3rd base. I would be surprised if he's up in 2024 at all.
  18. They have a 3rd baseman, but Jung won't be ready at the beginning of the season.
  19. There isn't much to go off, but in 382 innings in the outfield this year, J-HM had 6 assists, 2 errors, and one double play. He can at least hack it. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/justyn-henry-malloy/sa3017073/stats?position=3B/OF
  20. Would the Lions be this good if they didn't practice? They are a precise and violent team.
