  1. So far, he has only voted to get it out of committee to send it for a full vote.
  2. While you're marching, carry a sign to remember Naveah Crain, Amber Thurman, Porsha Ngumezi and all the other women who died or were traumatized because they were forced to keep dead fetuses in their bodies by the government.
  3. Not really. Rumor is they gave her, Collins and McConnell the green light to vote no, JD will cast the tying vote, game over. SSDD, just like with the Supreme Court nominees.
  4. I'm sure there's no imported Chinese crap on Amazon.
  5. I'm getting way too much pleasure trolling my Magat family members. They knew who he was, what he did, how many people he would hurt and voted for him anyway. Now the leopard is eating their face and I'm pouring on the gravy. I'd burn in hell if I wasn't an atheist.
  6. Elon Musk was not elected to anything.
  7. Okay, boomer
  8. Crazy getting upset over a little thing like antisemitism. Which part was hypothetical?
  9. Spoiler alert, they will still blame him.
  10. Except that it won't. For one, it's 2025. Start a podcast. It also says she's a regular on sports talk radio. Also, you do know meteorologists don't just work in TV? I mean, it's not like she made racist remarks, insulted the disabled, cheated on her spouse with a porn star and tried to overthrow the government...that would be career ending, right?
  11. Disparaging a member of the clergy asking for compassion for vulnerable groups, because, of course. Not a one of us didn't totally expect this exact reaction.
  12. But at least kids won't go to school and come home a different gender. Those illegals, too. Weird how the New Orleans and Vegas bombings dropped off the radar so quickly after they couldn't pin it on illegals or the far left and that they both served in the military.
  13. Going on 20 something hours without sleep, but I'll be damned if it didn't take way too long to figure out what a Hanus school shooting was. Press one if you speak MAGA.
  14. That's where the issue with Nancy Mace comes in. She's allowed to have her fears and her concerns, as we all do, as unfounded and political as they are. If we all legislated and passed workplace rules to eliminate every person who we may see as a threat, well, there'd be very few people in the workplace or out in public. Love me some Mina Kimes. She's definitely my girl crush. Deactivated twitter and really enjoying Bluesky. Surprised at how many have moved over there. I'm getting to read actual posts, in real time, no trolls, no bots. My online stress level has gone down considerably.
  15. If you say you're afraid of Sarah McBride because of an assault in high school, but not of actual men like Matt Gaetz who preys on teen girls, Brett Kavanaugh, who sexually assaulted a teenager in high school or Donald Trump who publicly stated he likes to leer at naked young girls, sit down and shut the **** up. Not only is at insult to sexual assault victims to use her experience for a political stunt, but she's putting actual vulnerable human beings who are already at high risk for attacks even more at risk. Deplorable.
  16. Agree with all this. Are the players really that bad or is it a coaching and management staff not getting enough from them? I have to say SY and Lalonde lost me at the end of last season when elaborating on the end of season collapse. Their response was pretty much, meh, we weren't expecting to make the playoffs anyway. The year before with the Ottawa debacle while in the playoff hunt was to sell at the deadline and the team went into a tailspin. Yes, we're all mesmerized by Dan Campbell and probably not another one like him, but hard not to look at this Red Wings team and see they have no Grit. Could another coach turn this lackluster bunch into a playoff team? I don't see how it could be much worse. Been a diehard for years, but I didn't even have any interest in watching the past few games. Not only do they not win, they're boring as hell. Organizationally, I think a really deep dive into the scouting, developing and preparation of the players is necessary. Yes, Holland left the cupboards bare, but enough already. Maybe not a management team of mostly former players? Greatness on the ice doesn't necessarily transfer to management or scouting
  17. While I'm happily overwhelmed with how much bluesky has grown in just a few weeks and how many familiar accounts I'm finding there, I can't help but wonder if this mass exodus (X odus?) had taken place when Elon took over if we might not be in a much better place right now.
  18. Someone needs to make a MTS starter pack 🙂. Bluesky has been a breath of fresh air. Once the sports, breaking news and dog content picks up, it'll be perfect!
  19. For me, post election, is how to move forward with people who exposed their true selves. It isn't politics, or a difference of opinion. I can't look at them the same way and just shoot the **** knowing what I know now. A conversation can't be had, because truth, facts and reality just aren't a thing any more. Of all the terrible things about Trump, that's probably the worst.
  20. The problem is, Biden has set up a soft landing to the current economic issues caused by Trump and the pandemic, which was never brought up. They'll suck Trump's **** for lowering interest rates and inflation. He'll give away Ukraine to Russia, but he'll be commended for being the peacemaker. He'll deport as many brown people as he can, and the Pro Life God Fearing crowd will cheer. Another million people will die from the next pandemic and the scientific community will tell you it's just a hoax, and masks don't work anyway. The fatties deserve to die anyway. By the time the **** ups come to fruition, it'll be election season again and they'll blame Biden and the liberals with zero pushback and preach unity and working across the aisle. Trump will decide to stay in office, Constitution be damned, and the Dems will just sit there with their heads up their asses patting them selves on the back for being classy and playing by the rules. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
  21. Fluoridated water works systemically. It is most beneficial to children while their teeth are newly erupting, especially those in low income areas. Fluoride also occurs naturally in the water in many areas.
  22. A few years back, Hartland, near Brighton, got all bent out of shape having fluoridated water and voted to remove it. One of the local dentists wrote them a thank you letter saying it would undoubtedly increase his business.
  23. I could be wrong on this, but I believe Biden declined to run because Beau had just recently died.
  24. Half of them ARE gay!
  25. Ha, Larry DeWulf? He's still practicing, believe it or not. Still uses paper charts with scribbled notes, doesn't have digital xrays or even a computer in his office. Like a blast from the past.
