You can put him on the practice squad, which if the lions want him there he will be there, cause he will clear waivers. But he can’t be the emergency QB because he won’t be on the 53 man roster.

Patterson can’t be the guy. Go with romo. If he struggles go find someone else. It’s not reasonable to go with a kicker who has a max distance of 50 yards. Not in todays game.

There just isn’t OL depth in this league. The lions back up line is atrocious. And patternson misses a 53 yard FG attempt. Short. The guy has a noodle leg. If your kicker can’t even kick it 50 yards he shouldn’t be your kicker. Romo might need to be the guy.

Looks like no starters again on Friday. So we won’t see them at all this preseason. At this point, if they haven’t played, zero reason to play them for the 3rd game. Just get to week 1 as healthy as possible and get after it. 2 weeks from tomorrow is opening night.

I didn’t see that. Teddy made some nice throws that went incomplete because of the receiver. The pressure was ridiculous. Sudfield is a bum.

Drummond has to catch that. Another quick 3 and out. The back up offense has done nothing. Drummonds story is going the wrong way. That was a relatively easy catch and he just dropped it.

Why is cominsky in the game? He is bonafide player. He doesn’t need all these reps. Why risk injuring him?

3 possession for teddy led offense. Zero first downs thus far. He has made some nice throws. benson can’t catch. Cota was just out of bounds. The OL is god awful. Stephen Gilmore with the pick. He has played well.

That catch isn’t gonna count, but chase Cota deserves to make the team.

There is nothing to trend. He shouldn’t have played at all last year. Like I said, it was all free last year, just an opportunity to experience being in the NFL but nothing worth evaluating. Good WRs have long careers, which is why talking bust on a guy who hasn’t played yet, which wasn’t really expected, is odd. The 6 game suspension sucks, but as we across the league, it’s not like he is the only one. That does talk his maturity, but as far as on field eval goes, his hour glass really starts week 7. He will be healthy and expected to make large contributions for the first time.

I think anyone even talking about bust is ridiculous. This is the starting line. Everything before this was basically a free lesson. Anything up to this point isn’t worth evaluating based on his knee injury. His real evaluation begins in week 7.
