Jack Campbell looks good though. Wow.

2 seasons with the lions, 95 catches, nearly 1200 yards and 4TDs. Plus he is extremely reliable with returns. He is a really valuable asset. I can’t imagine the money will be an issue. He is just a quality guy to have on the roster.

Who can tell me about Benny Snell? Not familiar with his work after Kentucky. I assume if they are signing him now he is gonna make the roster.

Retaining Ben Johnson was such a huge victory this offseason. The continuity that comes with bringing back a QB and OC that were cooking is priceless. Add a legit TE and a playmaker like Gibbs, gonna be fun to watch this offense put up points.

And? Specifically for Martin, if he was getting lit up during training camp he wouldn’t get any run in the regular season and that hurts the depth. With him having a good camp, thus far, it at least gives some optimism towards DL depth. Not everything is meaningless.

Jones contract was 4/160 with 82M guaranteed. Goff would be getting more guaranteed.

I did watch the first 30 mins of that episode before I fell asleep last night. The entire part with Gibbs showed just how highly they had him rated. He was their guy. When the cardinals offer came in they were already saying, “will he be there still?” And the unbridled excitement, you could tell that is who they wanted. He isn’t just a RB. And they were both ready to pull the trigger on Jack Campbell. Talking heads were all over the lions after the first round, but it grew on a lot of people.

Gun to your head today, extend Goff or no? I say 3 years / $120M, $90M guaranteed. Just throwing out a number. Not sure what his deal will look like. But it won’t be small.

Off season is over. Camp opens today. A few stories already coming out:
