That’s why it’s hard to have excitement right now, because we have to see this dufus throwing the ball every week. Goff is just so incredibly bad. Makes you question what Holmes sees in him.

Cephus and st brown both headed to the locker room. Cephus on the cart. I know injuries happen to everyone, but this lions team seems to have extremely bad luck. Really uninspiring first half. In the last 6 first half quarters the lions have 6 points on 3 FGs. 3 straight games where they couldn’t get a TD in the first half. Really terrible game plans.

I don’t want to watch one more series from Jared Goff. Being a Michigan and Lions fan is so frustrating right now. Two QBs who just can’t throw it.

Every sideline pass from Goff is uncatchable. Always out of bounds.

And they run it on 2nd and 10 for 2 yards and the Vikings take a timeout. Lions are just trying to run the clock out it appears. I’m just not sure what this strategy is at all.

Lions in no particular hurry in this 2 min drive. After the first down they didn’t snap it until 1 sec left on the play clock. Wasted 39 secs. Zero urgency. Zero interest. The coaching is just puzzling.

I think this team will become competitive under Holmes. They are so young right now. And their best young guys are injured. Nothing will happen though until this team drafts a QB. People keep saying no need to draft a QB, but you just can’t start the rebuild until you do. All Holmes has done so far is tear it down. Lions should do everything possible to get Malik Willis.

lol at Lynn and Goff combo. There are no routes further than 2 yards. Goff just can’t throw it. This is not NFL caliber quarterbacking.

You can’t continue to have 24 single 18 on 3rd and long. He is getting abused.

The Seahawks are doing more to hurt themselves than the lions. Incredible really. Poor play calls, horrible time usage, missed FG. They made a first down at the rams 49 with 55 secs left in the field and 2 timeouts. They didn’t run a play until 33 secs left and it was a run for 4 yards. They then called a timeout. So instead of 1st and 10 with 55 secs and 1 timeout they forced themselves into 2nd and 6 with 33 secs left and 1 timeout. Egregious. Then a TD negated on a penalty followed by a missed FG. Instead of 10-3 it’s still 7-3. Then they come out of the half, get the ball and punt. Back to back TDs for the rams after. That is lions football. Killing themselves everywhere.

I don’t understand what Carrol and McVay are doing. The coaching in this game is at an amateur level.

The run designs by McVay are laughable. Stafford overthrowing guys. Looks like some of the 3 week shine has worn off.
