  1. Having a worn out bullpen is a stealth way to tank games..while still seeing some growth from young players. I don't mind it.
  2. I think we are revisiting the Eric Haase problem. They really don't have anything down there.
  3. Weird paste from that Tork Table. It came from this Fangraphs article: https://blogs.fangraphs.com/spencer-torkelson-is-breaking-out/

  5. Carpy with the salami.
  6. Skubal didn't have much today. But he grinded out 6 passable innings and didn't implode. Good progression.
  7. Harris tried to patchwork 3rd and rely on Schoop coming back from the dead. We need to see if he will actually sign real players for the black holes on the roster. Or if the money is in the budget.
  8. They don't have anyone who can play 3rd base.
  9. Skubal is staying in the game.
  10. I value the young guy comeback much more than Brieske getting touched up.
  11. Not sure what Vierling is aside from a guy who can play a lot of positions.
  12. Meadows first mlb hit.
  13. Tork with some home power.
  14. Faedo pitched ok. I like that he gave us a good 6 innings.
  15. Tigers needed some bad defense and sloppy play to normalize things. Good stuff.
  16. Haase has been claimed by Cleveland on waivers.
  17. Vierling going to play 3rd(Maton goes down)? Baddoo getting sent down?
  18. Can't use Holton and Foley every night...and you need to score more than one run.
  19. Wentz is starting game 2; Manning was scheduled initially and will start tomorrow.
  20. Reds have Buck Farmer pitching high leverage innings.
  21. Joey Wentz is the 27th man for the doubleheader. Isan Diaz is gone with Baez returning from bereavement.
  22. I'm not crazy..my anecdotal observation on Tork's home/road slugging splits are accurate: Home or Away https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/split.fcgi?id=torkesp01&year=2023&t=b Split G GS PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS TB GDP HBP SH SF IBB ROE BAbip tOPS+ sOPS+ Home 58 58 245 212 26 45 12 1 6 24 1 0 28 62 .212 .310 .363 .673 77 4 3 0 2 0 2 .267 85 81 Away 60 60 260 236 35 58 13 0 15 42 1 0 20 61 .246 .308 .492 .799 116 7 2 0 2 1 0 .265 114 1 He hits more grounders on the road and more fly balls at home?
