  1. The rationale for calling up Nevin is that they are facing a bunch of lefty starters...take that fwiw.
  2. ESPN has the following: 1)Skenes 2)Crews 3) Tigers: Wyatt Langford...5-10% chance drafting Kyle Teel.
  3. They are being dishonest with the fanbase if they are calling up Nevin instead Meadows/Lipcius/anyone else. Either they don't think like prospects from the previous regime or they don't want to make the major league team even a bit better. There is no logical reason to run it back with Nevin for the 3rd time in 3 months.
  4. 2020 hurt him...he was probably rushed. But a college hitter taken 1-1 should farther along than this. He might turn it around. The inability to stack even 2-3 weeks of quality hitting is bad. It's a good 5 games and then two weeks of nothing.
  5. Good at scooping...bad at everything else. And it's first base. You have to hit to justify your spot.
  6. There are no miracles coming from Toledo...just another guy who probably will struggle.
  7. Tork getting some cover for going 0-5...I don't have much to add to the discourse on him. He'll get another full season but even the best case scenario is a league average hitter with no defensive value.
  8. By keeping Schoop and Maton on the roster, you are signalling that winning games isn't important. Harris said it himself. But you aren't holding anyone accountable for lack of production. You just throw the same guys out there expecting different results.
  9. Manning will start on Tuesday night in Arlington…barring any setbacks.
  10. The lead is good; Tork has struck out twice on 6 total pitches.
  11. Do we need more evidence that they don't care about wins and losses? Scott Harris basically said it on Monday. They continue to roll out most of the same offense every day. Either they don't have options or the don't have the urgency to change things.
  12. Jake has shown some power when he does make contact. Haase has done nothing.
  13. Fun fact: Arizona dfa’d Holton after signing Andrew Chafin; Tigers claimed him.
  14. this was a pitch clock classic. Bascially a non-event in terms of hitting outcomes. Twins strung a few hits together randomly.
  15. Joe Ryan will pump in fastballs all night. And it will either be a whiff or non-barrel contact.
  16. They scored enough runs to win at least one game today. The pitching and defense was brutal....especailly in game 1.
  17. Straight doubleheader at 1:10 pm tomorrow.
