If you want to win next year, you can't go into the season needing Tork to be a core right handed bat. All he can be is a just a guy who has a chance to make the roster.

They are overcoming it right now. But going forward, they can't rely on the fact that either guy is a top pick. That status doesn't mean anything.

with the rested bullpen, you don't have to deal with Mize nonsense. If he can't get out this inning, you have plenty of guys to use.

Meadows is blossoming in front of our eyes.

At first base/DH, there are always options who will give you a .750 OPS. If we're talking 3B, SS, and catcher, the options are limited. Tork is replaceable because he is just a hit tool who doesn't hit.

The outlier performance is the second half of 2023. Other than that, he's been a below average hitter and bad defender.
