  1. Agree with this and also think he will benefit B Martin quite a bit as well.
  2. Well, if the role players keep playing like Okwara, Harris, and Cominsky a pay cut vs being cut may be preferred.
  3. Do they break down zone vs man ratings?
  4. I think you need to add context on this before going to your conclusion. If was Goff, or Glasgow or others you might be right, however, it's players who are role players who can tell the team no as easily as they can say yes. They have also give Glasgow more money, Alex more money, JRM more money.
  5. I've seen it as the lower of the two third round picks plus two six round picks coming back to the Lions.
  6. Small sample size on Melifonwu, hopefully he can stay healthy as he showed signs in year three of being a positive player. Kirby has definitely looked good, but room for improvement as well, last year wasn't great for him.
  7. The Den, I take it, spend way WAY too much time there, lol. Just a loud couple of posters there, the usual suspects
  8. As @gehringer_2 stated, MLB.tv is great, have used since it's inception phone, tablet, laptop etc. Of course Streameast.live is another option if you don't want to pay for it
  9. May be faster to take 321??, not sure of the exact highway number, from Jville to Gainesville then 75 to rte 471 exit, six miles south of the turnpike. Exit 321 off 75 then 54 miles to downtown Lakeland, 35mi of which is a 60mph road where most do 70+. Miss all the Orlando crap, guessing this isn't new information for you.
  10. I will say two things have improved. The toll lanes through downtown Orlando make it far easier to get through that area, but Disney is Disney. 429 is improved at the I4 connection, but still it's I4 for 20mi where you can stop for ten minutes for no accident no anything and then do 80mph for ten mile before you stop again for no reason, lol.
  11. There is no such thing as running to Orlando or Tampa via I4, stop and go stop and go stop and well you get the idea, I may choose 95 in Miami over I4.
  12. I'm a dipa/triple IPA or barrel aged stout guy, one of the beer snobs that many don't like 🙂 . If a stout isn't 10%abv it will be ok but not my preference, sipping stouts iow. Second hobby is bourbon. One of the top 10 desert stout breweries in the country is in Tampa, another one similar in quality in St Pete. Swan will have a stout you will enjoy and their IPA's are good. I host a beer share in December each year, started in 2019, where we have quite a few folks fly/drive in and ship their beer ahead of time if not driving. Usually about 30-40 of us with $4-5,000 in beer on the bar at nights end. We usually hit a few breweries in ATL or this year we hit Greenville SC for a day. All are welcome, buddies brewery hosts the event and shuts down at 6pm for the share.
  13. Revival and Mojo's both in downtown Lakeland will be your go to for that.
  14. Condolances on the beer choice, but more than happy to meet up.
  15. If any are in town let me know in advance and if my schedule works up can meet for a beer somewhere in Lakeland.
  16. I have an office in Lakeland for those not familiar with the area. Several good spots in the area: in downtown or within 1/2mi Swan brewery, decent beer good location normally have a food truck check the web for what is there Descent Brewery descent beer downtown Revival, great spirits, excellent bourbon, rum, tequila and more, no food but can bring pizza in from palace pizza across the street. Mojo's great bourbon selection good/decent food 1961. highend restaurant on the square Screamin Tuna excellent Sushi, owner is a packer's fan Fresca's Harry's excellent seafood Walkons on the northside solid beer selection and very good food, portions are large Joinery; Lakeland's version of a food court with good restaurants and excellent bar(daughter works there). Mission BBQ/4 Rivers smokehouse, on the southside bit of a pain to get there if not staying on the southside but excellent bbq.
  17. I'm pretty sure all the subscription articles from the Freep can be found for free on Yahoosports. They regulary repost the articles within a few hours of them being posted on the Freep's website. As a subscriber to both Detroit papers, I inquired on this to the Freep a couple of times, they have never responded.
  18. https://twitter.com/darrenrovell/status/1685454700768862208?s=20 Max Scherzer will become the first athlete in sports history to be paid at least $15 million by three different teams in a single year. Washington Nationals: $15 Million New York Mets: $28 Million Texas Rangers: $15 Million
  19. Justin Rogers @Justin_Rogers Confirming @TomPelissero , a team source has informed me Gardner-Johnson's injury doesn't appear to be serious.

  21. The below article is a year old but man is it brutal. https://jetsxfactor.com/2022/06/01/denzel-mims-ny-jets-wr-film-stats/
  22. From Profootballrumors.com JULY 20: NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero tweets that the pick swap is conditional on Mims making the Lions’ 53-man roster. As a result, the deal is essentially a short-term free trial for the Lions as they look to finalize their WR depth chart in the coming weeks. A strong performance in camp and the preseason will go a long way in determining the former second-rounder’s fate as he enters the final year of his rookie contract.

  24. Meh on the fireworks story, who cares, much ado about nothing. Meanwhile, Lions have been featured on the NFL network most of the day, so far all W's. Currently trailing the Raiders by six with 3min left; current game under HC Schwarz. Another game after this one.
