There's always going to be talk of firing the manager on a losing team.

Tigers need to win at least 4 of their next 14 games to have a better record than their horrible start from last year.

Maybe the Tigers should fire Scott Coolbaugh instead of A.J. Hinch?

Don't worry, Chris Fetter will get him all straightened out. He's the best in the business. And A.J. Hinch is only one game worse then he was at this point last year. Only one more game in April and then he'll turn it around.
-
For now on we'll call him Bad doo-doo.
-
That would be Andrew Miller.

The key is to ignore April every year.
-
Several. Alex Avila, Austin Jackson and Rick Porcello to name a few. Andrew Miller is younger and he made his debut 4 years earlier.

I had to look this up. The first MLB player was Felix Hernandez, who actually made his ML debut against the Tigers. The first Tiger younger than me was Andrew Miller, by 1 month.

His first full season was also my first year as a baseball fan and I also was upset they got rid of him as there wasn't much to get excited about the '99 team. He was an exciting player.

Shhh...don't criticize Hinch.

I think it's very much a individual thing. Take Max Scherzer. When he first came up, everyone was predicting a major injury from him because of his delivery and he's been relatively healthy his whole career. Now take Justin Verlander, who most people would consider has the perfect delivery, missed time in 2015 due to injury and later had TJ surgery. Scherzer, while being a regular starting pitcher for the prior 4 years, didn't hit 200 innings until his age 28 season. Verlander, on the other hand, had 5 years of 200+ innings through his age 28 season (including 2 years at 240+). Maybe Verlander was overworked early in his career and that was the cause of TJ surgery?

Are we not going to talk about Jack Morris' ignorant comment? Remember last year when he was suspended for using an insensitive accent while Shohei Ohtani was batting? Why is Jack Morris still here?

There hasn't been any updates on Mize either. Wasn't he supposed to get more tests done today?

When do we start playing non-good teams?
-
Fire Ausmus...I mean Gardenhire...I mean... All managers suck.

Avila is the one that said we had to win in April.

There were terrible calls by the umpires on opening day and Hinch did absolutely nothing. I miss the days where managers would get ejected by arguing bad calls. Is it too early to call for Hinch's head?
-
Ah you found it! Yeah, a double steal makes more sense. Sounds like he would've been a fun player to watch.

I remember reading a story where a team was trying to do a hit and run. The batter swung and missed, but the runner successfully made it to 2nd. The runner yelled back, "let's try it again!" And on the next pitch he ran back to first base. Everyone just stood there shocked, the batter, catcher, umpires. The rulebook was changed the following year to state that runners cannot run the bases backwards. I wish I could remember more details.
