    I've known a person or two that has suffered emotional/mental issues post COVID. It made them sadder...and a touch slower. But they were older than Meadows (50's and 60's)

    Package the pick and go get Ayton....then our roster will look really stupid. I think the Tigers took all of the lottery luck for Detroit by moving up to 3rd in a draft with three guys who would be 1-1 level picks most years.

    Even if we can get Wemby...can he displace Bagley? Yeah...I'm kidding. I do wonder how he might co-exist with Duren. Although Duren's 7-5 wingspan and Wemby's est 8 ft would make for some interesting defense around the rim

    I remember way back in the 70's when John Grodzicki taught all of our SP how to throw a change up and pretty much all of the good ones wound up with arm problems. Is Trei Cruz finally establishing himself as a prospect?

    I know...I love that channel! Currently...MLB.com has Noble Meyer as the 15th ranked prospect thanks to a 60 FB, 55 SL (55 Overall). As a HS RHP....he probably won't go that high...but I doubt he drops to #37

    The inverse of the Turnbull injury was the Sam Bowen "Detroit? No.. I'm hurt" caper of 1981. On the eve of the players strike of 1981, the Tigers acquired OF Sam Bowen (at AAA Pawtucket) from Boston. Not wanting to go to Detroit to carry a picket sign for no $$...Bowen claimed an injury that allowed him to stay in Pawtucket while earning his meager AAA salary
