    Pure Roots just put a new dispensary in Battle Creek. It is in a former Don Pablos and it is massive. I bet it sat 250-300 people at the time. They put $5.6m into the refurbish and it just opened Feb 1. Glad it finally opened since we only have about 19 other weed shops.

    I have been watching some Alabama games to get a look at Miller. The best thing I saw was Nate Oates, their head coach. He runs a pretty nice offense. Basically 5 out with a ton of motion, ball screens, PnR stuff but the other 3 guys are not standing still. Generally one will spot up while the other two run off ball screens, pin downs, etc. He also does a nice job of identifying the other teams weakness on defense and attacking it. I am not normally a fan of college coaches jumping to the NBA. But Oates would have been on my short list when they fire Casey with Kenny Atkinson being the other. Unfortunately he just signed a new extension and the rumored buyout is big. Shame since he also has Michigan connections. He turned Romulus High School into a national powerhouse when he was the HC there.

    I bet Honda is thrilled. They are a major sponsor of RB and will be on the back wing this year. But all the talk is about RB and Ford.

    Ford has confirmed they are returning to F1. No specific team announcement though but it sounds like RB will announce that in a few minutes at their launch in NYC.

    The Pistons could probably get Toppin for a Chick-fil-A gift card. Toppin is a 25 year old 3rd year player and is not good at all. Mitchell Robinson is hurt, which should have resulted in more time for Toppin. Here are his minutes since Robinson went down: 16 10 10 16 9 9 I get Toppin isn't exactly a C and Randall blocks some of his minutes at PF. But if he had talent they would find a way to get him on the court. Plus, he was losing PF minutes to Jericho Sims before Mitchell got hurt. The Knicks would trade him in a heartbeat and it wouldn't cost much of anything at all.

    If the Pistons want to trade their pick they can just do it on draft night.

    Bey shoots 40% from the field which is awful. He shoots 35% from three which is average. He plays horrific defense. You don't shove him out the door but you also don't want to pay him. His value drops next year since it's the last year of his deal. Take any reasonable offer you get and move on.

    I wonder if you are better off putting less emphasis on the high school class and concentrating on the transfer portal. The kid is at least a year older, you probably have some actual tape of him against other college players, he has been in a college strength program for a year.
