  1. Not a direct answer, but it's been going on for a long time. What is tanking? A history of the NBA's controversial lottery strategy
  2. Looks like Utah has started its 2026 tank campaign. Kevin Love was a starter?
  3. Absolutely, I was building on what Screwball said. The bankers won't mind this at all.
  4. After two straight nights of football, I figured it was prudent to take the girl out so I missed this one. They were up 14 in the 4th and lost? I don't care who is out, you have to win when up 14 in the 4th. Box score tells me Ivey wasn't good. 33% from the field with 0 assists? They might seriously consider pulling his QO at this point.
  5. That is some anger issue type stuff there. BTW, the player he went after was supposedly Luka
  6. LAC has Leonard listed as questionable with an ankle issue. He played against Brooklyn last night. I don't think he plays in B2B games, so expect him to be out.
  7. Everyone seems fixated on low income people not getting credit cards if rates are capped at 10%. I agree that will happen, but not sure if that is the biggest issue. Google tells me the average CC interest rate is between 21-23%. If you cut a company's revenue stream by over half, they are going to fight like hell to claw that back in other ways. What does that look like? $0 annual fee cards will be gone. Cards already with a fee will see those fees go up. Cash back, points, and rewards will shrink and/or disappear. CC companies will increase fees on businesses that use their cards. You are already starting to see some businesses charge customers a fee for using credit/debit cards. If fees go up, that practice will become ever more widespread. So yeah, dropping interest rates will help some people save money. But the pushback from CC companies will probably end up costing more people money in the long run. I think you could also make an argument that lowering interest rates while raising fees in other areas will make CC companies more money in the long run. According to Google, half of US adults carry credit card debt. Google says only 14% of transactions are now cash. So more people use credit/debit cards for purchases than carry monthly debt. That sounds like a big win for the credit card companies.
  8. It doesn't get talked about enough, but the Pistons did a poor job exploiting Brunson last year in the playoffs. If I'm playing the Knicks, Brunson and/or KAT are getting put in some sort of action on the perimeter all the time. Worst case scenario, you are wearing him down so he doesn't have as much energy for offense.
  9. That was pretty nice
  10. Some staffers wife is getting ****ed this weekend
  11. Stew and Cade missed shoot around today.
