They didn't. Monday was a bloodbath in Asia. Asia was up today (Tuesday) but this story happened Monday morning.
-
Lowe has SGA, Jokic, Tatum, and Giannis as locks for 1st team and Mitchell as the fifth. Second team was Edwards, Curry, Mobley, Lebron, and Haliburton. Back also had his 1st team as SGA, Jokic, Tatum, and Giannis, and Mitchell. Second is Edwards, Steph, Mobley, JJJ, and KAT. Lowe third team he said locks are KAT and JJJ. Brunson if he gets to 65 games, which he still can. He has Cade as the fourth guy and KD if he makes 65, which he probably wont. He said if KD doesn't get 65 then he would consider JDub, Sengun, Harden, Sabonis, and Young. Beck's third team was very muddy. That guy is asked a question, speaks for 10 minutes, and answers everything but the actual question he was asked. But he mentions Lebron and Haliburton are locks. Brunson if he hits 65. He said Cade has been awesome and he considered him. But he think Garland is being overlooked. He mentions Siakam. He mentions JDub, and KD if he hits 65. At this point he starts talking about Trae Young and his Sally Jessy Raphael glasses and I turned it off.

That one makes more sense.

What the **** is going on?
-
Their argument against it wasn't Cade vs Garland. It was if Cleveland deserved 3 players on the team. They had Mitchell and Mobley on the 1st and 2nd team already. I think I would put Cade on the 2nd team. But I was shocked to hear someone like Lowe say he is the back end of the third. He is one of the few media types that I respect. He tends to know his stuff.

I would prefer to spread a vicious lie about him and make him drop to 37th so we can pick him. But Utah is cool too.
-
I liked the idea of Detroit trading into the bottom third of the 1st round to pick up Wolf. He has him at 19. That is high enough it would cost some real assets so can probably forget that.

Listening to the new Zach Lowe podcast and he has Howard Beck on. They got into all nba teams. Lowe does not have a vote, but he had Cade as the 4th guy on third team. Beck mentioned Cade for third team but said he was sort of thinking Garland there instead, but never really listed his third team. Maybe Cade isn't the lock I thought he was.

You're right. I don't know. Hope someone bites on Duren? Ivey is sort of like adding some talent since he missed 50+ games. People will have a fit when I say this. But if there is a decent backup PG free agent this summer, they might be better off spending money on him rather than Beasley.
-
JB getting the guys to play hard is commendable. But this summer, Trajan has to go add some talent to this roster.

Milwaukee actually plays tomorrow. Only 2 games tonight.
-
This is another NBATV game.
-
Duren and Harris listed as questionable. These are not throwaway games. Pistons go 0-2 and Milwaukee goes 2-0 and the weekend games no long matter. Bucks play tonight after playing last night. No word on Giannis yet. Minnesota is tied with 3 other teams for the 4th-8th seed, so they have to put a real team out. So good news for us. Sacramento also played last night.
-
Of course they would.
-
Giannis did not play tonight. Milwaukee is only up 3 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
-
Duke lost so I hope he had cashed it out.
-
Before today's games. The WCF 3-8 seeds were separated by 1 1/2 games. With one week left in the season, you could go from a 3 seed hosting a first round playoff game to the play in. Crazy.

The tiebreakers against Milwaukee in order: Head to head - Currently 0-2 in favor of Milwaukee. Best we can do here is make it 2-2 and move to the 2nd tiebreaker. Milwaukee obviously can still win this tiebreaker. Division leader - Useless since we are in the same division and would be tied. Division win-loss percentage - Neither team plays another division game except the 2 against each other. Current records are Detroit 5-9 and Milwaukee 7-7. Best we can do again is tie it and move to the 4th tiebreaker. Milwaukee can still win this tiebreaker. Conference won-loss percentage - Including the 2 against Milwaukee, we have 1 more conference game (NYK). Milwaukee just has the 2 against us. Current records are Detroit: 28-21. Milwaukee 29-20. Both teams can still win this. Milwaukee has an extra conference game because they played Atlanta in the semi-finals of the in season tournament. I don't know if that game counts or not for determining tiebreakers. If yes, they can't tie and no other tiebreakers are needed. Better win% against playoff teams in own conference - No clue what the numbers are here. Better win% against playoff teams in the western conference - No clue what the numbers are here.

It didn't limit their ability run at all. They average 45 defensive rebounds per game and had 44 last night, plus Memphis committed 15 TO's and that is what teams usually commit against Detroit. They had every opportunity to run last night. Being out rebounded hurt them by giving up 2nd chance points. 23 is high since Detroit usually gives up just over 14 second chance points per game. But even giving up all of those 2nd chance points they only lost by 6. If they shoot their normal averages of 47/36 on the same amount of shots as last night, they score an extra 18 points and win by 12.
-
The rebounding was an issue. But they lost this game with poor shooting. You lose a lot of games shooting 38% from the field and 26% from three. Shoot your averages and this is a win.

Ferrari and Mercedes have a lot of work to do. Pretty boring race. Other than the pit exit dust up with Max and Lando I can't think of much else happening.
