    25 years ago today In Excelsis Deo aired. Always in my discussion for favorite WW episode. Toby used the Presidents name to arrange a color guard for a homeless vets funeral. The President asks him if he's worried if all homeless vets will come out of the woodwork if we keep pulling strings like this. Toby has a great response that always gets me. "I can only hope so." Also love in a different part of the episode when Mrs Landingham tells Charlie about her boys. Do yourself a favor and watch some WW.

    I know Dallas is looking to move Gafford. Offers zero spacing, great lob threat though and will block 2 shots per game. Good defense on a good contract ($15 per for one more year). Rumors are they want perimeter defense back. Not sure they want someone as flawed as Holland or Thompson though. Dallas has been linked to Herb Jones but IMO it will take more than Gafford to get Jones.

    Eh, his contract isn't as bad as I thought. Probably worth the risk. Even more so if they can bring Nic Claxton with him.

    Marshall is pulling out if its bowl game against Army. They said they lost too many players to the transfer portal. Louisiana Tech will replace them.

    Keith Smith just Tweeted that there is a $20M Luxury Tax disbursement to be paid to teams not paying the luxury tax. If Detroit stays below the salary minimum for more than 1 day, they will not be eligible to receive that payment. TLDR; Something is happening in the next 24 hours. Could be a trade. Could be as simple as signing a free agent. But they will fill that salary void so they can get that payment.

    This is extremely odd. His contract doesn't become guaranteed until January 10th. He was a pretty nice trade chip until then for teams that wanted to dump salary. Not much of a reason to cut him like this.

    Cup game ratings are in the toilet. Hawks-Knicks did 1.4M OKC-DAL did 1.4M MIL-ORL did 1.1M For context. MIL-Bos (Not a cup game) did 1.28M last Friday. Difference being, they didn't shut the rest of the league down. There was a full slate of games, unlike cup games.
