Yep, the blood clot was huge. He ended last year hurt and still wasn't cleared for 5v5 until after this season started. His entire summer was lost.
He also didn't get any training camp with his new coach. His first time running JB's system was 20 games into the season. Amen is in his second year with his coach.
I also just think Amen is better. What separates them is Amen's handle. He has legit PG skills and can run an offense. Much easier for him to get to the rim than it is for Ausar. Shooting needs to improve for both obviously. But Ausar developing some ball handling skills will be his swing skill, not shooting.
