No clue who this guy is. Only posting it because them looking to move him makes some sense. Harris makes $26 million this year. If they let him walk as a free agent, they are still over the cap next year. So him leaving via free agency doesn't create any cap space. Trading him for a player on a longer contract is really the only way to continue using his money.

Ivey and Harris were both recalled to the Pistons. Might not mean much since the Cruise are in Indiana for two games this weekend. Can't exactly practice with them if they are not here.

Some people feel teams will start to value 1st round picks a lot more. This is due to how punishing the new CBA is to expensive teams. Teams will be looking for the cheap talent that draft picks provide.

I will never understand why Milwaukee cut and stretched Dame. $22 million a year in dead money on their cap sheet until the summer of 2030 just to fight for a playin spot. Here was the starting lineup for Memphis tonight: Santi Aldama Cedric Coward Jaylen Wells Zach Edey Vince Williams They beat Sacramento by 41 points. Clippers just lost their 9th in a row. OKC has their 1st round pick this year, unprotected.

Well, it was 3 FRP's outright and the right to swap on 2 more. But Markkanen and Sexton were way better at the time of the trade than Ivey/Holland are now. But Mitchell at the time was a better player than Markkanen is now, and without the injury history. It isn't even necessarily about a better offer. Markkenan has this year and 3 more on his contract. He has never even hinted at wanting out, and has said he believes in what Utah is doing, suggesting he wants to stay. There is no reason to move him, other than he might win them too many games and cause them their 1st round pick this summer (protected 1-8). I think you would have to really wow Ainge with an offer to get him, and that offer Lowe laid out isn't a wow type offer IMO. Of course, Detroit should never trade for Markkenan to begin with. But that is another post.

The gap from OKC's #1 defense to the #2 (PIstons) defense is 6.5 points. The same gap that is between Detroit and the 20th ranked defense. OKC is fantastic right now.
