A lot of complaining about the end of last night's game and the Spurs fouling up 3. People want a rule change.

The Pistons are 18th in the league for 3PT% at 35.6%. Cade shoots 30.7% from three. Subtract him and his shots, the Pistons shoot 36.6% which would rank them 10th in the league. They have 3 regular rotation players that currently shoot better than 40% from three with volume. 5 rotation players over 38%. I'm always for adding more shooting, and they should if the opportunity presents itself. But I don't see it as an absolute need they have to address. Cade needs to shoot better, but there isn't a trade to directly fix that.

That search firm is going to contact a bunch of people, so this isn't really news, I guess. But if he could turn this into an extension, it would be his third since this summer.

I don't think he would pair well with Cade. Having both of your stars be that inefficient is a bad idea IMO. I also dislike undersized guard like him and Brunson. I think they are very exploitable in the playoffs. You need to be a generational shooter like Steph if you are going to be that size.

Most of the athletic departments problems were created by the football program. If the new guy is competent and runs a tight ship, most of the issues go away.
