  1. No shock there.
  2. Interesting. Hawks pick goes to SA this year without any protections. So could be big if they fall into the lottery.
  3. Hollinger last night:
  4. Sounds like the all star reserves are announced Thursday night.
  5. F-35 crash in Alaska today.
  6. Oh they 100% are in the play-in game. But they can make that and still keep their pick as long as they lose and one team that also lost has a better record. 1-13 the Pistons keep the pick. #14 is the last lottery pick, or one of the 4 play-in losers with the best record. I would guess the pick would be in the 20's. A contender will want him and thats where they pick. Plus, he isn't worth a pick higher than 20 IMO.
  7. Well, those numbers are not great to draw those conclusions. The Cade on before numbers include Ivey on and off the court. We don't know where the struggle was. Here are numbers, all before the injury, that are strictly Cade/Ivey playing together or Cade with Ivey off the floor. So better on offense with him on. Much better on defense with him off. Pretty much meets the eye test. As far as if they say he is a second star or not? I don't know. I looked at OKC. The numbers with SGA on and Williams off are absurd. Williams is easily a #2 star. He might make all defense and all nba this season. And those numbers make it look like OKC should just cut him. So I don't know.
  8. Pistons have multiple guys eligible for this. None made it.
  9. The Athletic did a mid-season all American team for CBB. Flagg made 1st team. I didn't really see any other high picks that made the teams.
  10. Think I'm with Buddha on this one. If a first is offered I would move Beasley. Losing him for the rest of the year helps us tank and lose enough to keep our pick. Getting the extra pick is big for a team with such little talent like Detroit. Also, I'm always leery of a guy having a career year in a contract year. Trading him doesn't do anything to change their odds on bringing him back next year. They can offer the same amount of money and terms either way. Malik Beasley has thoughts about his pending free agency
  11. Higher prices should calm the markets.
  12. Caught the two OT's of this game. Miami closed with Bam, Ware, and Jovic on the court. Basically three bigs.
  13. Pistons team stats when Cade is on and off the floor. This is per/100 possessions so pace is removed. I included before and after Ivey got injured. The offense really struggles now that Ivey isn't around to play when Cade is off the court. Looks like they lose almost all their points at the free throw line. A lot less attempts/makes with Ivey no longer around.
  14. Gives Detroit Bird rights on Ball too. I imagine he will sign a 1 year prove it deal sort of like Beasley this year. Gives them 25 games to kick the tires on him too, see if he is worth bringing back. It makes a lot of sense.
  15. Bad game from Cade. But the guy had zero help once again. Duren was the only other starter that had double digit points. Combined, the 4 starters scored 22 points. Thompson didn't score at all. Nobody other than Cade had 20 points.
  16. Man, this Washington team is bad. They might challenge the Pistons losing streak from last year. 5m30s left in the 2nd quarter and they are already down 63-25 to Dallas without Luka. Klay had 7 three pointers in the 1st quarter.
  17. Less than 9 minutes left in the game and only Cade and Beasley are in double digits. Duren just hit 10 as I typed this.
