There were not a lot of team members on the fence. Red Bull had just as many if not more for 2nd place. And this was Sainz first P1 ever.

Memphis has done a great job identify young talent the past 2-3 years. Might be something to this kid.

Murray with 24 and 7. 56% from the floor 50% from three. Chet goes tonight at 9PM on ESPN. I saw a tweet saying the entire OKC roster is available tonight. Giddey is on the roster so he must be playing as well. I am really interested to see Jalen Williams. But yeah, I will tune in to see the Thin Towers.

Tinder has set the price on harassment. The beautiful thing about this. They will charge the other person $5.99 to block pinned chats.

40 wins? I have never seen a guy so pumped to be under .500.

So there were a ton of extensions announced this week. Ja, Beal, Booker, Jokic, and quite a few more. Point is, those are guys who were on next years FA list. So now that list is starting to look a lot less attractive.

Can someone beat the market on a consistent basis? I am talking about someone with very average intelligence. Doesn’t do this as a job. Can put 12-20 hours in a week reading/learning. I don’t mean you luck boxed your way to amazing 1–2-year returns. I mean you beat the market for 10, 15, 20 years. Can it be done?

Now that I have had time to digest what happened. What a shit show. Ferrari has knocked it out of the park with their car this season. Now they must spend next winter seriously upgrading their strategy department. They constantly cost their drives races/positions with absolutely mind-boggling dumb strategy. First was not pitting Charles on that Ocon safety car. You can hear his race engineer telling him to stay out, so he wasn’t past the pits when the yellow popped. Binotto said they didn’t have time to double stack and Carlos had older tires, so they chose to pit him instead. OK, that makes sense. Except someone posted the telemetry of the race and Carlos was 9 seconds behind Charles when the yellow came out. Plenty of time to double stack. Sounds like he was making excuses for bad strategy. The second bad strategy choice didn’t happen because their driver said no. On the restart they wanted Sainz to back up Lewis the 10 car lengths you are allowed so Charles had some room to work with. Sainz basically said no and ran the restart like normal. Charles fumbles, Sainz jumps at his chance and wins the race. If Sainz is attempting to back up Lewis, good chance he gives up position. Then Charles is on old tires and is easy pickings for Lewis. You got the car right. Now go back and rebuild that race strategy department.

The problem isn't the mercenary model. The problem is picking the wrong mercenaries. Miami did ok with it when they let Lebron and Bosh take over. They even sort of pushed aside the current franchise player to do it. Cleveland and LA did it again with LeBron. LA is currently a mess, but they got a title out of it before becoming a mess. Toronto is a mix of growing your own talent but at the end of the day they needed a mercenary to get it done. GSW obviously grew a lot of their talent, but they don't win those two titles without KD. KD is an immense talent and every team in the league would want him. You just don't want him as the face of your franchise. He suffers in that role. He needs to be #2 like he was in GS and let #1 take all the pressure usually associated with the face of the franchise. Same thing basically for Kyrie.

Little shocked Detroit intends to play some of those guys. I assumed Cade, Bey, and Stewart would be out there practicing but not playing. Killian probably should play.

They really have treated KD poorly. Gave him $40M to rehab his injury the first year. Let him hand pick the coach he wanted. Let him hand pick his teammates in Irving and Harden. Gutting the future of the franchise to do it. Gave him a massive extension, that ironically has not kicked in yet. The Weirdness of Kevin Durant Wanting Out

I want the Nets to trade Kyrie for Westbrook then do not trade KD. Russ and KD reunion in Brooklyn.

That seems like a bad deal for GSW.

Watching Luka play some international games and he looks to be in good shape. Some actual muscle tone and not as pudgy as he usually looks. He really needs to start showing up to training camp in better shape.

That really could have been ugly.

Carlos! Hang your first flag in Maranello! Charles sort of got screwed there. Still some great racing from him at the end on those old tires.

The halo saved another life in this mornings F2 race. That driver would have been decapitated without it.

Keegan Murray had 26 and 8 in his first SL game. 10-14 from the field, 4-5 from three.
